Wake up to beautiful watercolor sunrises, whale watching during whale season and romantic dining on the lanai with a 180 degree panoramic Oceanfront view! Ahh! Kauai!

From inside your studio unit or sitting out on your private lanai you can watch whales migrate during the season, see the occasional monk seal visit the shoreline, and relax to the soothing sound of the sea just steps from your tropical home-away-from-home.

Islander on the Beach offers excellent studio options for accommodating 2 guests located in Kapaa, Kauai. This resort offers a great swimming pool with Jacuzzi as well as BBQ grills and a poolside bar. This complex is non-smoking. Centrally located on Kauai, this resort is only a 15 minute drive to and from the Lihue Airport. It's only a 45 minute drive to Hanalei Bay and 40 minutes to Poipu Beach. This complex is located behind the Coconut Marketplace, where there are shops and eateries for you to enjoy! There are several grocery stores within a 5 minute drive from the studio.

Islander on the Beach Oceanfront Unit #246: This studio is great for Honeymooners, Couples, and parties up to 2! Newly renovated with Tommy Bahama style furniture, travertine flooring and granite countertops, this studio is newly decorated with beautiful scenic Kauai wall art. The Tommy Bahama KING bed has a memory foam mattress for your comfort. Linens and toweling provided. There is a new 50" flat panel TV in the studio. And Air Conditioning! The bathroom has a shower and bath tub. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator with a freezer section, microwave, coffee maker, and tableware.

Cleanliness and Safety: In keeping with our high cleaning standards, our units are thoroughly cleaned for every guest arrival. Each property has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using EPA approved disinfectants. We pay special attention to high touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and remote controls. Our housekeepers are thoroughly trained on the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC.

Note: This condo is not part of the Aston Hotel, meaning there is no resort fee associated. Daily housekeeping is NOT provided, and guests are not able to use the on-site laundry facilities. You can purchase a mid-stay clean from our cleaners for a sheet change and towel exchange for based on the services requested or you can use the laundromat in Kapaa only about a quarter of a mile away!

Celebration Vacation

Room with a view!

We enjoyed our stay-loved the ocean view from the window and while on the deck. It was great to walk 2 minutes and have access to shopping, restaurants, and a market. The pool bar was nice, and we also liked the ocean coast path right out the door for walking along the water, or to get to get to a Safeway grocery store nearby. Thanks for a great stay, we loved Kauai!

26th wedding anniversary vacation

Waking up and falling asleep to the beautiful sounds of the waves outside our unit was incredible! Not to mention having breakfast on our deck with the ocean and sunshine upon us…. Simply heavenly! We will be back!!

The location, grounds, and views were great. Having the Lava Lava Grill next door was very nice as well. Great food and service. Other restaraunts, shops and convienience store are just a few miniute walk. Glorius sunrises! Sound of the waves just fifty yards away is awesome. The only issue is that this unit could use some TLC.

Cozy studio with beautiful views in great location

Clean but a little on the small side with an amazing view. It’s located in a beautiful resort community with walkable stores/restaurants. We had 2-3 bugs on the bed but other than that the place was very clean (also it’s Hawaii so expect some bugs even for the cleanest properties). Would absolutely stay here again given its great location/view/cleanliness

Everything awesome except mold.

Everything was awesome! For real. The only thing we would say is that we noticed mold in the headboard so possibly look into getting that treated. Or possibly replacing it with jon wicker? Anyway thanks!!

Great Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our overall stay was very good. The property is super nice, well manicured, and the grounds are beautiful. The description of the unit is accurate, but it looks tired. Honestly, when we first arrived, it did not “feel” clean, but it was. The unit just needs TLC to bring it up to par with the beautiful property. The drawers on the cabinets are weak so I did not use them for fear they would break. So, we worked from our suitcases when it would have been nice to unpack for the week stay. The view and sound of the surf was awesome. Access to the Coconut Market Place was excellent. The ABC is within a 5 minute walk for just about anything you need including food and drink. There are several good restaurants and shave ice for a great dessert. The property to the south next door has the LavaLava Club (on the beach) and to the north is the Hukilau Lanai restaurant which is 5 stars. Parking was great and the front desk staff were very friendly.

Rude and misleading

I have stayed in this unit before and loved it for the beautiful opportunity to relax on the lanai and watch the ocean, and the people stroll by. It is all torn up and ugly orange construction fence blocking my view!!!!. I wouldn't be quite so upset if I had been informed and given the choice to continue with my reservation. I also rented another unit from Kauai calls, and the view was compromised as well. I have been a return customer, I believe the ugliness of the construction to be a misrepresentation of what I had reserved. The agent Candace said she would rather lose my business than work with me on a suitable return of moneys paid. She also claimed she didn't know about the construction, but inquiring with other owners and the Aston, was told everyone knew. I was duped and I never got over the orange fence nightmare, It was too late for me to move to a different place. I have a case with the Better Business Bureau that you may look into. I will not be lied to and taken advantage of by this woman, who I have found many similar reports online about.

Room was perfect for a couple! Great space and bathroom is nice. Had a beautiful view of the ocean from the deck along with a pool right next to the building (less than 30 seconds away) that also had a bar! We'd love to stay here again if we comeback to kauai
