Nice location centrally located between both sides of the island. Great restaurants close by. View was awesome and we loved the sound of the waves. A bit noisy with the highway so close. We had everything we needed and had a great vacation

Wonderful location and stocked appropriately. The only thing I would change is adding air conditioning to the main room or a much better fan. It got very hot during the day even with all the windows open fully. Cross breeze was ineffective on several days. The AC in the bedroom was amazing! Otherwise, I would not change a thing. Quite complex, pool was nice as well.

Great stay!

Very close to the beach and the condo was well equipped wirh chairs, towels, cooler, etc. Enjoyed the pool also - nicely landscaped and private. Overall an excellent stay!

This unit was super quiet. We had the beach below practically to ourselves, outside of a few local fishermen who added to the scene. The owner quickly responded to all questions, and was very helpful with suggestions for the area's activities. We would recommend this rental.

Great area, about half way between the 2 sides of the island. The condo was clean and furnished nicely. The bed was comfortable, the balcony great, what more can you ask for! Hope to come back someday.

Perfect Location

This condo is central to both north and south shores not to mention its own beautiful beaches . It is an older condo but clean and you can’t outdo the view in the morning !

The check-in process was seamless with the instructions emailed ahead of time. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the AC in the bedroom worked well. The balcony overlooking the ocean was enjoyed every morning and evening! The Coconut Marketplace was a short walk away, where we had dinner and bought groceries a few times. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient location

This location is great because wherever your day takes you, everything is easy to get to. Road traffic is a bit noisy at night but the sounds of the waves are a reminder of why you go to paradise. Enjoy!

What a View

The place is as advertised. The view is fantastic and the A/C in the bedroom is a must. The location is great for being centralized in Kauai. Close to restraunts, the beach and fun activities. The only small downside is the large amount of road noise. Great place overall though

Nice Condo in Great Location

The place was perfectly located just south of the center of Kapaa. The apartment was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The only downside is if you are on the lenai, there is a old broken down building to your right which is a bit of an eye sore. The building is also off a main road, so it can be a little loud at night time and early in the morning.

Nice oceanfront balcony view, middle of everything

The host provided a lot of information before check in which made planning super easy. The room was clean and cool upon arrival. Everything was provided by the host. Parking was easy and always available. The only issue we had were a few flying cockroaches in the room one night, but we didn’t see them after that. Overall, a good place to stay.

Had a great time!

The property location is good. Unit was comfortable and clean though dated, could use some minor upgrades. Not all basic paper products were stocked which was disappointing. Good thing there was an A/C unit in bedroom for sleeping, as condo is very warm during the day. Would be nice to have a couple boogie boards for the beach. Traffic noise is very loud when sitting outside on lanai as Condo bldg is right along the road. Overall our stay was good, loved Kauai!!

Outstanding view

Arrived late in the evening to find music playing softly, lights on in the apartment, and a very welcoming atmosphere. In the morning, the ocean stretched before me. Exactly what I had hoped for! Because there is nearby highway construction, there is some traffic noise at night. The sound of the surf usually drowns it out. Parking is easy. There’s a gas station across the street. Staying on the east side of the island made it convenient to drive to attractions on both the north shore and the south shore. If you are lucky enough to meet the housekeeper, Marvis, she will enlighten you with wonderful island stories.

A lovely condo in a great, central location

The owner, Shayne, is very communicative, and can give you all kinds of advice and recommendations for your stay. The condo itself is clean and well-appointed. I particularly appreciated having the air conditioning in the bedroom. In other condos I have occasionally had to sleep in the living room. The location is very convenient: Kapa'a is pretty much right in the middle of the main roads which don't quite circle the island, so you can get to the far end of the South shore and the far end of the North shore in about the same amount of time. The proximity to Foodland is nice as well. We were able to watch the sunrises from the lanai, though the sun was JUST North of our view, which was actually nice because we weren't staring at it. There was some road noise, which we have found is hard to get away from in any beach front property in Hawaii, but it was not too loud, and the AC in the bedroom completely drowned it out at night, so it did not affect my sleep. I definitely recommend this condo!

Only Good Things To Say About This Property

The condo’s location is perfect, minutes from Kayaking Waimea River, Lydgate Beach Park, Lydgate Cocoa Farm, Costco, Walmart, Opaeka’a Falls, Wailua Falls. Less than an hour to North Kauai (Princeville, Hanalei) and about an hour to Waimea (south tip). Great ocean view and sounds from the lanai. Security seems very good, parking lot is spacious and well maintained as is the building. This unit is very clean, has everything you need to cook including many condiments, comfortable and clean furniture, great TV package, comfortable bed, two coolers for the beach, as well as beach mats, beach towels etc. Appliances are a little dated but work great, the fridge has an ice maker which we made great use of. Air conditioning is only in the bedroom (but works very well) but this is not uncommon in rentals on the island, Hydro is not cheap and many locals do not have it. Opening the sliding doors to the lanai brings in a breeze most times. Bathroom is not cramped, was very clean and shower worked well. In general, this is a great place to stay, reasonably priced, great location, owner made contact to ensure everything was good, amenities were plentiful with many little extras.

Great sunrise beach view. Many good restaurants within close walking distance. Coconut marketplace. Good central location to many fun island activities and hikes. Only downside I would say is the traffic noise with the bedroom facing out to the main highway. Loved having the ice chest, beach chairs, etc. for use during our adventures.
