The Honey Lodge (436761) is a secluded, beautifully decorated log home with stunning mountain and lake views, located just 2 miles from downtown Hiawassee, Georgia.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Put all TVs back on original inputs and remotes in front of TVs. $50 for lost TV remotes.

Dogs only. Cover sofa with sheet provided. No hair on furniture. Please pick up after your pet.

Close hot tub lid when not in use. Strip used beds. Lock home, place key in lockbox, and spin numbers on departure.

Cabin was very clean, comfortable, liked how there was 2 separate living room areas, bedroom were good size. Karen was easy to communicate with. It was hard to navigate the parking area with a big truck.

Such a great place to stay. Beautiful view and home. Everything is as described! We could even see the fireworks from the deck on the 4th. We will definitely go back.

Great views, great hot tub, nice kitchen, everything was clean and ready for us on arrival. Unfortunately my phone broke while we were there, so I don't have the pictures. Just means I will have to go back again!

Such a wonderful trip with 3 best girl friends. Roomy but cozy, beautiful view, located close to town, and the hot tub was a plus. The drive on the way up can be steep, but we drove a Camry and did just fine. Karen was very kind, easy to get in touch with, and very thorough with instructions and recommendations. We will be back very soon!

The mountain house was nicely furnished. Great artwork & decor - while a rustic log home, it was "mountain chic" and a nice change from kitschy. My husband & our two dogs enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was clean & so relaxing with great mountain views. The view from the back deck was amazing. The rocking chairs were comfy & the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The cabin also has a charcoal grill & fire pit & cornhole/games. While you are surrounded by trees with no neighbors close-by, you are only a couple of miles from Hiawassee & Chatuge Lake.Unlike many mountain cabins, there is ample parking & a flat area perfect for walking our dogs. Karen, our host, was communicative and helpful but never intrusive.We definitely plan to return for another visit!

Everything was wonderful and Karen was super responsive to any inquiry we had. The cabin has/had all the “little things” you might forget when traveling and all the amenities you would need on a vacation. This is a great location near so many things to do!

Best hide-away in north Georgia

Amazing little spot on the mountain in Hiawassee. Wonderful view and quiet location. Highly recommended. Great kitchen and fireplace with sliding glass doors you can see the view from all locations. Wonderful host always quick to help. Two thumbs way up

Privacy with a view

We had a 4 day getaway and had a great experience. Management was available at any time - although we didn’t need them. Very clean, nice hot tub and a very nice view. We’ll be back!

Great mountain retreat with unparalleled view!

Everything was as presented. The home was very clean and had all the necessities needed. The host were very involved and accessible when needed. Loved the porch and hot tub. The place to get firewood was close by and great burning wood!. Kitchen pots and pans could use an inventory.

Perfect!!

Don't waste your money on lakefront property, this is where you want to be! Wood burning fireplace, gorgeous views, hot tub, comfortable living room and bedroom furniture, what more could you want!! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

It was the perfect space for our family with an upstairs and downstairs for the kids. The hammock, hot tub, and porch with rocking chairs and an AMAZING view were all fabulous. Super clean! Highly recommend.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch looking at the magestic mountain view during the day & relaxing in the hot tub at night as well as in the morning. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. There were only the 2 of us so we only used the main floor but there was plenty of great space for several others. The owners were great communicators, reaching out several times to make sure we had no issues. We highly recommend this place 🙂

Quaint and scenic

This is a wonderful property just outside of Lake Chatuge. Very comfortable with enough room for my family of 4 and then some. With its scenic location and “away from it all” feel, this was a perfect getaway. Hiawassee had plenty to do for my 3 and 6 year old and the cabin was exceptionally clean. Plenty of convince near by to make a longer stay here without a ton of travel. Karen was extremely helpful I’m giving suggestions for the area and was a wonderful host. 10 out of 10 would recommend and looking forward to our next stay here.

Weekend getaway with the pups

We absolutely loved our stay. My husband and I booked a last minute weekend getaway and brought our two labrador pups with us. The biggest plus for us was this place being dog friendly with a stunning view. The view was amazing. It was quiet, private, peaceful and so relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed and was close to all the hikes we wanted to do in North Georgia. The hot tub had a great view after a long day of hiking. The host was great. We would absolutely stay again.

Mountain Escape

We arrived Saturday evening, the property was easy to locate. We immediately unpacked and began enjoying our time away. We watched football, enjoyed the sunset and decompressed. We pretty much stayed with this game plan. We did visit a few restaurants to experience some local flavor. Karen was a phone call or text away if we needed anything. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quite getaway.
