This extremely clean cabin has 1 bedroom, 1 large bath, living room, kitchenette, covered front porch, wifi, satellite TV, heat and air, sits back from water but on WF property w/golf cart available to travel 150' to boathouse on water, plenty of parking for boat, sleeps one or two adults maximum, no children, no pets, no smoking inside. Nothing needed but personal items, Right at Six Mile Bridge on Toledo Bend Lake. Boat launch in addition AND public one within walking distance. Restaurants, Family Dollar, Bank, gas within 3 miles. Quiet neighborhood just 500' off main Hwy 87. Owner lives on property and readily available. 10 miles to city of Hemphill. Six Mile Community! Great fishing.

Fantastic little cabin that is absolutely perfect for a weekend or a whole weeks stay. All the necessities are available, boat house, fish cleaning area and golf cart to use when needed. Carol was an excellent host and the neighbors were great! Will absolutely be back!

So peaceful

The cabin was perfect and just what I was looking for. Small but very comfortable and clean. I felt very safe at the location. The host had provided everything I needed, except for personal items. I will definitely be back.

New home away from home

It was exactly as listed!! Clean with all amenities and no problems whatsoever. Beautiful location and area with everything you may need nearby. Our host Carol was great and responsive. We will be back soon for a full week and this may very well be our place every time we come to Toledo Bend!!!

Fishing Camp

If you have a boat and are looking for the ultimate stay this is it . No big bangs on the cabin but the location could not be beat. You launch your boat at the public ramp 100 yards from your private boat house. There is a golf cart to use to go from the cabin to the boat house where there is lights and a fish cleaning station.

We have stayed here 10 times through the last 5 years. If one of you loves to fish, this is a fantastic place to go. Carol will always take care of her guests. She has added many improvements even since our last stay. Anything listed on the description is correct but some things you won’t find. I wish we could go more often. What we love is she keeps the price so very reasonable. No extra fees like most places. It is our home away from home. We can’t wait until we are able to go back!!!!!

Born in Beaumont, TX in the 1940s, (I'm no spring chicken!) of Italian parents, attending 12 years of Catholic education & still enjoying the same childhood friends. Love lake living and sharing the peace and tranquility with my guests. I live on the property, am very respectful of your privacy at all times, but available if something is needed to make your time most enjoyable. (I won't impose upon your time, but you are welcome to impose on mine!) Success is when my guests enjoyed the simplicity that I proudly share, and leave feeling happy and relaxed. The actual address of the CABIN itself is 622 Holiday Circle. I am 10 miles from town; convenient to Family Dollar, Bank, Restaurants within 1 - 4 minutes in any direction, next to a fine boat launch with fishing piers and picnic tables, just off main highway (no 5 miles of dirt road) in a very quiet, friendly, helpful neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

I am in a neighborhood but on an acre tract of beautiful, waterfront land that affords privacy. However, if you need help, there is always someone nearby and available.
