This is a cedar sided two story cabin. It has a very private feel to it and is just a short walk down to the creek. The upper story features a balcony overlooking the tree tops with the most fantastic view. It’s a great place to have your coffee in the morning! The downstairs also has a porch area with seating and a porch swing. The upper story features two queen size beds, a half bath and a separate AC unit. The lower story comes equipped with a full size kitchen, a full bath, twin inset bunks in the bunk nook and two futons in the living/dining area, one of which is part of a bunk with a twin top. Both the upstairs and downstairs sinks are located outside the bathrooms for convenience for larger groups. Situated on our 6 acre property, the cabin comes with its own bbq grill and firepit. Guests have access to the creek where you can fish and swim. We provide canoes on a first come, first serve basis and there is a treehouse for the kids! Unfortunately, due to our location, we are unable to provide guests with WiFi at this time, but we are happy to provide you with a list of local free WiFi hotspots! Our property manager, lives onsite and is available to answer any questions and handle any issues during your stay. We live in a rural area, and we are located off a county road. Our property is gated, and we will send you the code in the welcome message. Since we live in a rural community, there isn't public transit. There is a Lyft/Uber driver available from time to time. We are located about 7 miles outside Marble Falls. There is an HEB, Walmart and movie theatre, as well as several restaurants, wineries and breweries. We will provide you with a magazine detailing local attractions and we're also available to make recommendations!

Creekside Cedar House
Owner's record keeping is not acceptable. Changed booking to one of their less expensive accommodations 3 weeks after setting initial reservations and almost three months prior to arrival date. Sans any contact, I called a few days out to confirm my changed reservations only to find the change was not made and was told I could not change at that point. Cottage was spacious, but owner's definition of rustic translates into "el cheapo" in most folks' books. Furnishings looked like they were acquired from the side of the road and construction was downright unsafe in several areas. Would not recommend to anyone at the listed price. Half of current rates would be more appropriate for this property. It also bears mention the owner wanted payment up front and charges a 3% "convenience" fee for credit card transactions. Suggest getting current with payment options versus "soaking" patrons.
