This place had absolutely everything we needed for our vow renewal, from a long beautiful mirror for the bride to get dressed, to a lovely courtyard to talk the night away. Two chef kitchens with a gorgeous open room from the back for drinks and hosting. And the biggest table I've ever seen in the main house that allowed many configurations for us to play up to 4 board games at one time! The perfect home for all of our needs and more!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this home was perfect. The Davenport Estate easily accommodated 10 adults extremely comfortably. Absolutely no complaints, could not have had a better experience. I booked the trip very far in advance, and there did end up being an issue with the original booking, but Lucky Savannah took care of it and made sure we were not disappointed with the change. The staff was kind and accommodating when we dropped our bags at their office the morning of our reservation, before check in. We will absolutely be booking with Lucky Savannah any time we are back in Savannah.

We rented the main, garden, and carriage houses, and for a group of 11 this was slightly more than enough room. quality of appliances and furniture was high. AC for the main house went out on the last day, but this was on an extremely hot day, which happens sometimes. The staff were immediately on top of solving the issue. Would definitely rent here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Davenport Estate was perfect for our needs. We had my daughter's family and their uncle joining my wife and I for a family vacation. Each of us had a private areas and public areas to access. The courtyard and outdoor kitchen was very nice. Everything was modern and accommodating. It was convenient to the grocery store and a short drive to pretty much anything. It was two short blocks from Forsthe Park and that was nice. Overall just a great experience. We had an issue trying to find the right code for the small parking garage and called the property management and they were very polite and quick with a response. Nothing else to say. It was great.

Wonderful home for a family gathering

I have rented through Lucky Savannah multiple times and have always been pleased. This time was no exception. The home was beautiful and just like the photos. It was sparkling clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It was so spacious for our 4 family groups to have our own space. It had all of the historic charm with all the beautiful modern updates you would expect. The outdoor kitchen and courtyard was our favorite spot to gather. An area like that is now a must in my home! It was the perfect sanctuary. The home was walking distance to everything in the historic district while still being tucked away in a quiet part of town. We were all impressed with everything and will definitely be returning! Thanks again Lucky Savannah!

Summer Girls Trip in the Heart of Savannah

This year we had 10 lovely ladies and the Davenport Estate (main house and carriage house) offered a spacious and beautiful retreat for our group. Situated within walking distance of everything, and also along a gorgeous and quiet historical street, the location of this home was KEY! Whether relaxing in the garden under lights, rocking on the front porch looking out over the oak-lined street, or lounging in several of the smartly decorated common areas, the Davenport offered guests variety and charm at the highest level! Of course we were there during late June, so the heat and humidity were high. Overall, the A/C situation in the house was good--a few rooms upstairs in the main house were balmy, but box fans did help to circulate the air. The formal dining room table was absolutely perfect for our private chef dinner! So many times, large homes that can sleep 10-14 people have tiny dining tables, so we were pleasantly surprised with how well-planned each space was. We would highly recommend this property to anyone with a larger group! Thank you Lucky Savannah for a great trip :)

Fabulous Girls’ Weekend Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a party of 7 women and we rented the entire property. It was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. There was lots of seating and the house was very clean. There are 6 bedrooms and a small room under the stairs with a comfortable twin bed. The house is historic and there is some noise when people walk by on the street. If you are sensitive, bring white noise or stay in the carriage house. The room under the stairs is very quiet and dark for one person. The garage is very small but there was available free street parking close by. The location is wonderful. We felt very safe and the homes are beautiful. We walked almost everywhere and took inexpensive Ubers when it was raining. We highly recommend and would return.
