We had a wonderful relaxing time at the Julian Cottage. The house was in perfect location to walk into town but far enough that it felt peaceful. The bed was comfortable and we had all the amenities we could ask for. The fireplace was a great way to cap off a relaxing day. We will definitely be back!

This house was fantastic, my favorite part was sitting outside on the patio at night looking up at the stars and listening to all the frogs from the creek. Easy walk to town. I would stay here again and have already recommended it to my coworker.

Beautiful staycation for our family of 5. Deborah was gracious & responsive. We had a minor hiccup w the blinds, but overall it was a relaxing time. The lilacs were blooming & it made our stay all the more sweeter. The proximity to downtown Julian was a big plus. Definitely would book again.

The Pinezanita Cottage is a lovely place to stay. The cleanliness, comfort, and environment were wonderful. Furthermore, Deborah, the host, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. She was a superstar!

Thank you, Mark. We appreciate your excellent care of our cottage, and we're glad you had a good stay. We strive to create clean, comfortable lodging for our guests.
Communication and attention to customer service is top-notch. The host really did provide many little things other places don't (I should know, I rent vacation homes at least once a month). Things like a Brita water filter, olive oil, Q-tips, and plenty of cookware and dishes. Other things I appreciated: The fragrant lilac tree near the front entrance, a very comfy wrap-around couch, the patio seating, comfortable beds, two televisions (in case there's disagreement about what to watch), and the proximity to Julian.

Thank you Paige, we appreciate your kind words more than you know! Deborah
The cabin is darling. Clean and welcoming. The lilacs were in bloom and it smelled lovely. The property feels remote but it is just steps from downtown Julian. Would book again. Bring some kitchen stuff like oil and extra coffee and tea, the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans etc but limited pantry staples. We left a bottle of olive oil for the next guests. They had some coffee, tea, salt, and pepper. Luckily the little downtown has a couple of markets right around the corner. The host was easy to reach and our stay was perfect.

Thank you, Roxanne. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the stay and the Lilacs. We offer enough coffee pods to get you started for your first morning and very basic cooking items, salt, pepper, and there is usually an olive oil bottle; if it wasn't there, I apologize.
Guests should expect to bring their own food items, as we only provide enough Kurieg coffee pods for your first morning. Due to cross-contamination risks, we discard any food and condiments left in the cottage as a customary procedure. Again, I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
