Stay is as pictured. Good location, good AC, and everything you could need for a family stay if that’s what you’re looking for! Would recommend and would stay again.
Lovely home! Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and options for outdoor space was appreciated. Communication with the host was excellent, all questions were answered promptly!
The master bedroom, bed was comfortable with nice sheets. Nice big backyard. The house could use a refresh and it was a little dirty I.e carpets could use a deep clean, the common area couches all had dog stains on them. Great location otherwise.
Everything was great, clean, and nice little extras like candles to use during dinner with wine glasses also available. We’ve stayed at this property before and look forward to staying here for all of our Dallas trips! Friendly, quiet neighborhood also. The first night we were there, we tried to push a trailer up the driveway, were having trouble, and a neighbor walking by helped.
The bedrooms were spotless and the Wi-fi connection and the AC system excellent. We found the house to be both 'charming' and extremely comfortable. Being within easy walking distance the restaurants, shops and galleries of Bishop Arts was a huge plus.
House was in a great location, perfect layout and so cute. Host was wonderful to work with and very responsive but house was a little dirty. Would stay there again.
We had no real issues other than the cleanliness. We found a used tissue and hair in one of the bed sheets. There was no extra fitted sheets we could find to replace the used ones. Air conditioning worked well. Location was great and the host was an easy contact.
Great location in the Bishop arts District, easy walking to great restaurants and shopping. Great communication with David who was super responsive. Very comfortable living space.
I was very skeptical at staying here due to some of the reviews after I booked regarding how it was not very clean. When we got here the house was clean. I was glad about that. The inside of the house was nice. Could use a little improvements, lots of tiles cracking and you could feel the sinking in on those spots. We only utilized the downstairs area so I can’t speak for upstairs. I was very disappointed at the front and back yard. This was advertised as good for pets. The front yard was very over grown that you couldn’t even sit on the front porch because the view was blocked by overgrown bushes. The back yard was so over grown that I did not want to let my dog off leash due to the tall grass. Very disappointing. The outside did not look like the pictures at all.
Lovely! We liked that the kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware. The upstairs shower had a bunch of lint in the drain when we arrived but that was the only problem I noticed. Overall it was a great stay for our bachelorette party!
This was the best home we’ve ever stayed in for art shows where I participate selling my items. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, I am going to reserve it for an art show in the spring that I am participating in! VERY spacious, lots of towels, sheets, pillows, top quality shampoo and body wash in the shower. Lots of paper towels and toilet paper, there was even laundry detergent! The owner was very responsive when I needed help with the WiFi. The neighborhood was very quiet, it didn’t seem to be many rentals in the area, mostly homeowners that keep their yard well groomed. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here (just don’t pick the weekend I need in the spring!).
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is super quaint and the owner is so hospitable. The neighborhood is very walkable with restaurants and bars very close. The neighbors are very nice and it was just an all around pleasant stay. I spent a lot of time swinging on the porch swing just watching the world go by! Highly recommended!!
Had an issue with cleanliness of the rooms when we arrived. The owner was responsive and gave us a partial refund to take care of the issue.Parking is tight because it is an old neighborhood but it is a good location for Bishop Arts.
Stayed here during my niece’s volleyball national tournament. Property is well maintained and quiet. Check in was a breeze and the property owner(David) was very easy to communicate with. The property could easily accommodate 6 people with its 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. TVs were available throughout the home and easy to operate. Kitchen area was nice and there’s a dining room table as well. AC worked very well which is always very important to me.
David was very friendly and responsive. The home is beautiful and in a great area. Before booking I did see a few comments regarding the house being dirty but took the chance because the home looked nice and the area was shown to be safe. This home was my best option. Unfortunately we found the house to be dirty too. Cat hair all over all of the upholstered furniture, water filter in the fridge needed replacing so no drinkable water available, floors not cleaned, sheets looked like they may not have been changed and when I stripped the beds as David requested to wash everything, found an empty laundry detergent container with no liquid in it at all which says to me it had been empty for a while. David had told me a family had just rented, so no detergent possibly for them either. We ended up having to vacuum allOf the furniture to have somewhere to sit and swept up piles of dirt, hair and trash on the floor. I wouldn’t stay there again due to the uncleanliness. If the host hired a good cleaning team and kept it clean the home would be a great place to stay.
The house was not clean when we got there. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and dirty towels in the floor. They only had a few lightbulbs in the lights through the house.

overall quaint and nice house. Needs a thorough cleaning inside and out. Couches are dirty and the exterior is not maintained very well. Piles of leaves in the back yard and yards need TLC and backyard furniture and amenities need cleaning.
