We came a little later than expected due to a flight delay, but everything was in order. It was easy to communicate with the owner and coordinate all the details. The house/apartment was the right size and the location was great for nice walks and dining in the neighborhood.

Communication was mostly good with the host. Theisting needs to be updated to include information about parking especially for out of towners like us who do not have much experience with big city street parking. Wilmington does provide temporary parking for visitors but the host has to apply for this. Parking restrictions were 2 hour parking from 8 am to 6 pm except for Sundays. There is also street cleaning two days a week with different days for one side of the room than the other. We did not see that there was a difference and ended up getting a 25 ticket. This house is also downtown on a one way street and location of the home may not meet standards for some. We did enjoy our stay for the most part but this house is in need of some TLC. Many ceiling stains in various rooms throughout the house, floor is not level, areas need dusted and painted. The house did not come with enough utensils or plates to accommodate the number of people either. The place is roomy which was nice and was high priority for our stay. There is also a nice community garden with a park and walking paths right across the street which was nice. Overall, the place met our needs and allowed for us to visit with family as planned and also do some nice site seeing.
