Waking distance to several restaurants and activities: Mom’s Apple Pies, Jeremy's on the Hill, Heroes Pizzas, Mountain Bakery, Fort Cross, Julian mining company, Calico Ranch, Julian Farm and Orchard, hike in the Santa Ysabel Space Preserve. You can play basketball, pool, foosball, board games, books, movies, piano. Kids will love exploring multiple swings, playhouses, hammocks and climbing. Family trip to Julian

Our family of 6 plus mother and father in law spent a great weekend in Julian for a wedding recently and booked the Farmhouse through VRBO.What a great stay! Aleksey the host was friendly and communicative and has everything ready when we arrived. We only had to show up with our luggage and everything else was there!Plenty of beds and the place was in very good shape. An ideal place for an extended family to stay. Great amenities especially the game room with foosball and pool for the older kids and games and movies for the younger.Highly recommend this location for a visit to Julian!

The house and acreage were really nice. Unfortunately, the air conditioning only worked in the game room. The house was hot despite using fans. Repair to the air conditioning could not be scheduled until after we left. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit.

House wasn’t clean

The property itself was very beautiful; we were able to use it for our intended purpose. There were some things laying around the yard that we had to clean up, but the main problem was that the house was very dirty and not clean. The bed had stains on the sheets, the towels weren’t clean and smelled weird, there were dirty dishes and open food in the fridge. The bath tub had hair in the drain, the toilet was gross and grimy, the kids bed had a wood chip in the blankets, the floors were sticky when we first got there. The whole house smelled like cigar smoke, and the couches were dirty. We were notified only a couple days prior to our stay about a water leak in the master bedroom ceiling and the ac breaking with no compensation for that.
