Thank you for recognizing that our communication was excellent throughout your stay. We do wish these concerns had been brought to our attention while you were at the property, as we were given no opportunity to inspect or address them. We were not even given the courtesy by a direct message even after your stay. The refrigerator and cabinet-door configurations are part of the home’s original construction and were not installed by the current owners or management. While their opening direction may not suit every guest’s preference, it does not affect their function. We were especially concerned by the description of the mattresses as “disgusting.” Every mattress is intentionally covered with both a protective mattress encasement and a separate mattress pad beneath the bedding. Those layers had to be removed to photograph the mattress itself. The coverings are there to protect both the mattress and our guests and are cleaned and inspected as part of our turnover process. The vacuum pictured is provided for guest convenience and is not the equipment our cleaning team uses to service the property. Our team cleans with a Dyson V16 equipped with green-light dust detection. While the guest-use vacuum should have been emptied by the last guest that used it, its condition was not an indication that the home had not been professionally cleaned. We are always willing to address legitimate concerns, but we can only do so when they are reported. As per our guest agreement all guests are to report issues and give us the opportunity to fix the issue before leaving a negative review. We encourage future guests to contact us during their stay so we have the opportunity to help and correct issues.
