CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
-Upon arrival, please let the guard (at entry level) know that you are renting Unit 403, Casa Amada, and provide your identification.
-He/or our building management (also on entry level), will provide you with a packet containing a welcome letter, this entire document, and all the
necessary entry codes, elevator cards, and Xalli Resident Identification bands for each
occupant.
ENTRY AND ELEVATOR:
-Enter the second elevator, on the Ocean Side, swipe your elevator card, and Press 4...
-The unit is 403 on the right/right. Both the Entry Gate and the Entry Door operate by electronic key
codes.
-These codes will be given to you upon check-in. Those will be supplied at Check In, as well as two elevator cards and a WRISTBAND for each occupant. Please keep all in a safe place, as
replacements for key cards are a $100 fee.
When going down to Xalli Club, Beach or Amixtli Restaurant
-Repeat the same procedure and press floor #1.
-The private rooftop pool, hot tub, and gym are on ‘R’, #6 is the padel court, #5 is the main lobby and bar.
-Please only use the ocean side elevator as your cards will only work on that one. There is also a stairway across
from the elevators for your convenience. Always lock the unit when not occupied.
RULES:
-This is a non-smoking condominium and building. There is no smoking permitted, including the
rooftop pool area and our terrace.
-WRISTBANDS must be in your possession to access the owners' chairs on the beach, the rooftop facilities, and the elevators. Please wear them so that you can have a great experience with our staff.
MUSIC
-Quiet hours are 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM. Please keep music inside with patio doors closed
during these hours.
-Low-volume music is permitted at the rooftop pool at low levels, not to disturb other guests.
-No Outside Guests are permitted without prior permission and identification.
INTERNET - This condo has high-speed internet.
-TP-Link 6D18 5G – with a password of 74643318
TV
-There are 4 TVs available for streaming – please log in using your accounts (Netflix, YouTube, Apple, etc) and be aware that not all US content is available in Mexico. There are remotes on bedside tables, sofa table, and inside the cabinet door in the Murphy guest room.
SHOWERS AND FAUCETS
-We have tankless hot water, so it takes just a few moments to reach
our showers and baths. So, turn it on, then wait a few seconds, and it will be hot.
TOILETS – VERY IMPORTANT
-The plumbing and sewer system is very delicate and cannot accept anything but human waste and a light amount of toilet paper.
-Please, whenever possible, but paper in trash bins and NEVER flush any other items of any kind down the toilet.
-The Master and Guest 2 have Toto wash let/bidet facilities with remote controls mounted to
wall.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE ISSUES
-If you experience any issues with condo maintenance, please let us know.
-The office is located on the 5th floor behind the entry desk. They have a maintenance crew to assist you, or you can call Fernando/Javier/Max. A message is best.
COFFEE
-We offer a standard drip coffee maker with a filter as well as a coffee press. Coffee is also
served on the 5th floor, Tapazolli Bar, as well as at Amixtli.
REMOTE CONTROL SHADES
-Featured in the master bedroom, with two layers for a total blackout, is available.
-The remote is located on the wall above the ocean side nightstand. It is magnetic; please replace it when not in use. Control 1 is left, Control 2 is right.
-Please make sure windows are closed when they are down or operating.
AC UNITS
-When patio doors are open, please turn off the air conditioning.
-AC controls are in each room on the wall next to the light switches.
-Controls are not room-specific. Please return the controls to their locations. 23-25 degrees Celsius is comfortable for most occupants.
-Please turn off the AC when leaving the unit or space, it will cool off very quickly when turned on.
-Ceiling fans help to circulate the air as well as the AC.
-Terrace Ceiling Fan Controls are found on the wall in the kitchen and in the bar area.
-Make sure you see the snowflake symbol for cooling on the AC, as there are several settings on the remote. There is also a nightlight that can be turned off and a “quiet” mode for sleeping on the remote.
HOUSEKEEPING AND GARDENER
-ADELA is our housekeeper, and our gardener will arrive to clean and water on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:00-4:30 PM.
-She speaks very little English, so Google Translate helps give her any cleaning directions; however, she does have a
regular system she follows.
-She is happy to wash towels and change linens if you like (please place them on the bathroom floor if you’d like them laundered). She is not allowed to do any
personal guest garments or laundry.
GARBAGE CHUTE
-Please do not put any cardboard or glass down the garbage shoot.
-Separate glass, cans, large items, and cardboard and leave them in the stair area or under the kitchen sink, or in the laundry room for Adela to dispose of on her cleaning days.
-Do not overload trash bags as they will break and make a mess when traveling down the chute.
ROOF TOP POOL/HOT TUB
-Open for guests 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM – offers pool, hot tub, and lounges, umbrellas, grill, dining, and outdoor living areas including TV, Shower, and Bathrooms.
-Pool Towels are provided; please place them in the bin on the rooftop. If accidentally taken to the unit, place in the basket by the front door bench.
ROOFTOP GYM
-Open for guests from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
BEACH AREA/OWNER RESIDENTS CHAIRS
-There are 8 designated beach lounge chairs with umbrellas and a table for our guests between the hours of 9 AM – 5 PM.
-These should be reserved with the management of our building (5th floor) or the concierge at the front desk if no one is available in the office. These need to be reserved especially during high season (Nov-April) as they are limited.
-Please do not sit in the white chairs as they belong to the SDM beach club.
WATER EQUIPMENT
-Kayaks and Paddle Boards are available between 9 AM – 5 PM by reserving with the management on the 5th floor.
-A one-time liability form needs to be filled out for each guest before use. Please bring your life jacket if this is an amenity you’d like to
enjoy (we have two in our unit laundry area for your use).
-Also, snorkeling right from our beach or at the preserve is very accessible...
-Bring your snorkel gear to enjoy.
Paddle Tennis Court
-Bring your paddle equipment and enjoy our court located on the 6th floor for your convenience. Please be courteous of noise and other occupants.
LOWER LEVEL POOL AREA IS OWNED BY XALLI BEACH CLUB
-On the ground floor of our building, and is open to the public for a fee. It is a PRIVATELY OWNED CLUB – not part of the
Xalli condos.
-Our guests may use this amenity WITHOUT a “day pass fee”; however, they request that you purchase food and drinks during your stay, or dinner or lunch at the restaurant.
-Please inquire with the hostess or reserve online if you’d like to enjoy that service.
-The club is open daily from 9 AM – 6 PM.
The beach club offers a full-service bar, restaurant, pool, hot tub, lounges, towels, and beach umbrellas. Open the table or the concierge at the entry, or the hostess downstairs.
AMIXTLI Beach Front Restaurant
-Open from 9 AM – 10 PM, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
-Please make a reservation to eat there for lunch or dinner, just walk down and reserve.
-The food is excellent, and they often offer specials and have wine and food events. The availability can change seasonally.
ROOM SERVICE
-AMIXTLI restaurant and bar also provides room service directly to your unit and to the rooftop area (during business hours).
-Just scan the wooden placard below the living room TV for menus and all information.
5th Floor Expresso Bar and Tapas Lounge
-Open from 10 AM – 10 PM for Coffee and light breakfast, and afternoon and evenings for Small plates, wine, and cocktails.
-This is subject to change depending on the season.

- Check with your phone carrier to be sure your phone and internet work while in Puerto Vallarta. AT&T offers this service. You just need to let them know your dates of travel.
PESOS
-You may want to order some pesos from your bank before arrival or at a local ATM.
-Pesos are the preferred method of payment to get the best deals on local products and services at the best exchange rate.
-Most shops take credit cards (but not all restaurants), but again, they charge exchange fees and don’t always offer good rates.
TRANSPORTATION
-I would suggest not having a car unless you are comfortable with international driving, as the rules are very different here and stressful.
-Uber, Taxi, and Buses are very affordable and convenient.
TAXIS
The guard at the gate will be happy to call a taxi for you, and it’s easy to find one to take you to town.
-UBER is always available from town, but often hard to get to town from Xalli.
-There is also the local bus for the adventurous for 10 pesos that takes you directly to the old town (Zona
romantica).
-It runs back and forth directly to the shopping/restaurant area and Mismaloya, and picks up on either side of our entrance on the sides of the highway.
