Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please complete one load of towels or sheets in washer and dryer and start another load in washer before you leave.
Turn off all heaters.
Take recycling to community center recycling bins (across from volleyball courts at clubhouse) Place recycling in bins loose, no plastic bags.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any colony fines will be deducted from your deposit. The sand dunes are fragile, please no walking on the dunes. Fires are not permitted on the beach.
Please park in the garage or in the space marked 176 with parking permit on rear view mirror. Trailers, campers, RVs & boats are not allowed.
Skateboards, skates, bicycles or scooters are not allowed on boardwalks. Please put trash into cans marked #176, excess in sealed bags on top.

Our three generation family’s second time at this well-equipped property in a stunning beach location. With direct access to a long, wide beach to walk on, and a beautiful view of the bay (and occasional whales), this is a great location for a family vacation. Great stay at Monterey Dunes Colony

What a treat to stay at this property, especially considering all the heat we were experiencing in our home community. The house was well stocked, had comfortable beds, plenty of beach toys and all we had to bring was food, personal items and our clothes.

The beach is lightly used and offers walking, bird watching, whale watching, surf fishing and much more without putting on shoes. On the other hand you can explore the areas such as the Pinnacle Mountains and wineries to the east, Santa Cruz 30 minutes north and the towns of Monterey and Carmel 15 minutes south for more adventure and endless activities.
