My family of four (which included our two adult sons) spent one night at Kilimanjaro. It's an eclectic spot that feels like a cross between glamping and a hostel, since you have a shared bathroom and kitchen but you're in a private cabin that's attached to the common area. The property was quiet & peaceful, the beds were comfortable, & we enjoyed talking to the other guests & walking around the property. Our only challenge was the 2 bathrooms. They were super clean, but since the the shower & toilet were in the same room, no one could use the toilet while guests were in the showers. In reviews I saw on other sites, this wasn't a problem, and it wasn't an issue for us in the evening. I showered really early in the morning (around 5:30) & my husband also showered early. But when one of my sons needed a toilet around 8 a.m., he was out of luck. For over an hour, he and my husband kept repeatedly checking the bathrooms, and at the 1.5 hour mark, we packed our car and headed to a bathroom in town. It would really be helpful to have some porta-potties on the property, or better yet, to have half-baths that contained a toilet and sink. This isn't a deal-breaker, but I would just say to be prepared. I'll also add that we were there at the beginning of leaf-season, so it may not be so common to have so many people there at other times of year. I would stay here again--just plan your morning bathroom times accordingly if there are a lot of other guests. :-)
