Summary:
This is one of our premier downtown condo units, located right across from the Gateway Shopping District and just 3.5 blocks from the Salt Palace Convention Center. Dogs are welcome, and will require a $99 pet fee per stay. No cats allowed. When staying in a downtown environment, safety is key and we have you covered: We have 24-hour security guards that roam the premises, which is fully-gated. There are two full-sized grocery stores nearby, as well as dozens of restaurants and shops in the Gateway Shopping District, which is a very walkable and eclectic district full of shops, brew-pubs, sports bars, museums, comedy clubs, laser tag, and a Dave & Busters. There is a light rail stop close to the condo complex that can take you all over town, as well as to/from the airport.
The condo unit is on the top floor, so no noise from any neighbors above. It's furnished with all-new high quality furniture instead of the particle board stuff that our competitors have. The beds are all have new memory gel mattresses and the finest bedding so that you'll get a great night's sleep. The kitchen is stocked with all of the cookware, utensils, appliances, and other items that you'll need to make full meals while you're here. The television is a smart TV and it comes ready for you to log into all of your favorite streaming services. Both bathrooms are full bathrooms with one having a shower/tub combo and one having a walk-in shower. We provide premium hotel-quality linens and towels, and all amenities are included, such as soaps, detergents, paper products, iron & ironing board, washer & dryer, and even some personal hygiene items.

The host did a wonderful job of communicating. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was very clean, and it was close to everything downtown. I will be staying here again

Thanks! I'll let everyone know. As a small, family-owned business, we try hard to make our place stand out from the normal condos and hotels, so it's great to see that we're succeeding!
The condo is in a great location. Easy walk to lots of great shopping and restaurants. Property manager was very responsive and easy to work with.

Thanks so much, Angie! I try to be as fast and responsive to guests' needs as possible since so many hosts on Vrbo don't do that. I'm glad I was able to be a great host to y'all!
Very clean and well-stocked. Communication with owner was outstanding.

Thank you so much for the kind words. My family and I try hard to make everything as perfect as possible, and it’s great to see that all of the little things we do helped to make your stay so enjoyable!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
There was no mention in the listing that the mainline of the major rail lines serving Salt Lake City and all points east and west was about 150 feet from the unit’s window. Trains literally shook the unit and interfered with a good night’s sleep.

You know how some people are never happy, no matter what? This was definitely one of those people. He literally blamed me for the weather in his first review, which Vrbo took down. If you click on his profile, he has left 14 reviews, and ALL of them are one, two, or three stars. How are people like this allowed to rent on Vrbo?

Close to what we needed. Easy and thorough instructions for checking in and out.
Our host was available by text and was helpful and accommodating. The condo is spacious and well equipped. We shared it with three other family members. We had our private spaces and could congregate in the kitchen and living area. We were close to downtown and the Utah state Capital. The free assigned space inside the parking garage was very convenient.

Thanks so much for letting me host you! Let me know next time you are in town and I'll get you a discount.
Place was true to description, fully stocked, free parking spot felt brand new great rental. Only bad thing to point out when tw showers were being used hot water would be interrupted.

Thank you for allowing us to host you! My sincere apologies for that inconvenience. I wish you had just called me and I could have turned up the hot water for you - I live just down the hall. Then you would've been more comfortable and it would have saved you the time of leaving a negative review that doesn't apply to anyone else (we've turned it up already). We strive to make every guest’s experience perfect, so please allow us to do that for you. Thanks, and see you again next year!
Overall I really enjoyed our stay! Communication with the host was excellent and the videos provided to help with the check in process were perfect, making it really simple. I also really liked how close it was to the TRAX making it convenient to get to/from airport and going back and forth to/from downtown. My only true "complaint" would be that the train tracks are right there (not the TRAX) and is loud at all hours of the day and night. Though there were earplugs and sound machines in every room, if you are a really light sleeper, you may not want to stay here. I personally sleep hard, so it didn't really bother me.

Thanks for staying with us and for the review. I'm confused that you list the light rail being nearby as a positive and a negative though. Let me know if I'm reading that wrong.

About the host
Hosted by Daniel Alix
We are not a huge company that will treat you like a number. We are a small, family-run business and we take pride in our guest's comfort and satisfaction. We will try everything within reason to make our guests feel like they are at home in our vacation rentals. Our listings are up-front and honest, and we have no hidden fees whatsoever (which is rare in our industry). We have an abnormally-high amount of return guests, which is a testament to how well we take care of our homes and our customers. If anything about your stay isn't exactly as you want it, just let us know and we'll make things right.
We can provide one travel crib (pack n' play), one baby high-chair, one self-inflating twin bed kit, and a baby stroller on request free of charge. Additional cribs, high-chairs, or beds can be provided, but each additional item will cost $25 per stay. Please request these additional items ahead of time in order to guarantee their availability, as any last-minute requests are not guaranteed.
