Located next to Zion National Park, enjoy everything this secluded 3-bedroom cabin has to offer. This phenomenal 3 bedroom property also features modern amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, heating and AC. The 2 full bathrooms are equipped with showers and all soaps and towels necessary to make traveling easier. Our property is home to some of the oldest Ponderosa Pine trees in the state of Utah and tower over the cabin. Enjoy an incredible day in Zion or Bryce and come home to total relaxation weather out on the decks, the hammocks, around the fire pit or just inside on the couch. The night sky will be unmatched with its amazing stars and view of the Milky Way. The location for a visit including Zion and Bryce Canyon is not beatable. Just a few minutes from the house are Zion National Park trailheads for Observation Point and Cable Man which are two hidden gems of Zion. Arguably the 1st and 2nd best views of Zion you can get. Quiet, peaceful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. It was remote and very peaceful but the closeness of the Ponderose Resort meant we add easy access to good food and activities.

Quiet, secluded, comfortable cabin

The cabin was very roomy and very comfortable. It's on a dirt road a bit away from any towns, so be sure to get groceries on your way in. The seclusion also made for great stargazing! Good location for exploring Zion, especially the East Zion section. The host provided amazing information and communication before we arrived. We had a great time!

Short Stay but Great property

House was clean, owner provided lots of information on the area. We arrived late in the day and really appreciated the nearby resort restaurant as we forgot to stop for food before we arrived at the house. Renters should be aware that food should be purchased on the way to the property. The owner pointed this out but we forgot.

Nice house for the price we paid. The bed in the upstairs room was great. There was a terrible smell in the upstairs bathroom that we could not figure out. New and larger shower heads in both bathrooms would be nice. The house was unfortunately not very clean when we arrived. The kitchen cupboards were dirty, there was a used towel in the downstairs bathroom and hair in the shower. Our last day was a little stressful due to the rain. As the house is accessible via a dirt road, if it rains the roads get very muddy and so we were stuck indoors.

Beautiful house set off the beaten path of Zion! I highly recommend the Observation Point hike, just a short mile and a half from the house. Best view of Zion! The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked! The beds were comfortable and as were the lounge areas. Check out the sky while you're there! Thank you for hosting us! We would definitely stay again!

It is a nicely equipped house in a rural setting. The property manager sent us info on hikes nearby that did not require entering Zion National Park, which was helpful. We were pretty far from the main entrance of the park, but it was easy to get in from the side we were on. It was spring break and very warm so the park was very full, but we planned around that. My only concern was that it took 48 hours for the property manager to respond to our questions. The property is spacious and a great place to return after a day of hiking or biking.

Why they chose this property

Guest access
The whole property is yours to fall in love with! The house is on 3 acres plus lot, but is surrounded by thousands of quiet wilderness. Popular Zion hikes such as Observation Point (favorite), Cable Mountain, and Deer Trap, are just minutes from the house. We have also provided access to Zion Ponderosa Resorts 2 tier pools and hot tubs. Just check in with the front desk and let them know where you are staying and they will charge our account for you to swim. It will take just about 5 minutes to drive the 1.7 mile dirt road to and from the resort.

Other things to note
Zion Ponderosa provides activities great for all ages as well as dining options if desired. Swimming in their pool is provided by us, as well as some other free activities like tennis courts, basketball courts, play ground, volley ball court, ping pong, and billiards. Many other guided activities are offered for additional cost, check out their website for more details.

Our home is located on Zion Ponderosa Resort property, just 8 miles from the east entrance of Zion National Park. Come enjoy the peaceful serenity of our 3 acre property filled with Ponderosa Pines. Hikes like Observation Point (favorite), Cable mountain and others are just minutes from our home. Our home is perfect for accommodating a family or two out on summer vacation, but cozy enough for a couples weekend. Come enjoy seclusion while still being close to Zion, Bryce, and resort amenities!
