LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION in the heart of IRB the cottages are within walking distance to sports bars, restaurants, pizza shop, brewery, ice cream parlor and convenience store. Enjoy listening to live music most evenings while sitting on your balcony.

This property has two cottages, the LOWER COTTAGE-this listing -is a ONE STORY WALK-UP. If you need an additional unit for family and friends, see Irb Island Cottages-Lower VRBO 4851396. These two units are a great property for family reunions. The property is directly on the BEACH ACCESS (not beachfront) just steps to the Gulf of Mexico. It has gulf views and each cottage has 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths with an open floor plan, a 40ft long balcony. PARKING 2 spaces per unit. Each cottage SLEEPS 6 and has a WASHER and DRYER in the unit, CENTRAL HEAT and AC, WiFi and HD flat screen TVs in the living area and bedrooms. Each KITCHEN is fully equipped with regular size appliances, pots and pans, dishes and silverware. TOWELS and LINENS are also provided. There is a large patio with BBQ grills, sitting area and a FIRE PIT.
There is plenty of outdoor space to sit and relax with a glass of wine, read a book or just enjoy the beautiful weather. The cottages are within walking distance to several restaurants, brewery, sports bars, ice cream parlor and convenience store.
The trolley stop, nearby allows one to explore many miles along the gulf beaches. Indian rocks beach is on a beautiful barrier island on the gulf of Mexico. The large balcony, patio and the salt air contribute to creating a very relaxing 'old Florida' feeling.

There is a municipal marina nearby where you can book a deep sea fishing trip as well as sunset sailing cruises. Indian rocks beach is a beautiful spot of pristine white sandy beaches and sparkling water perfect for swimming. It is located on the 12 mile string of tropical barrier islands between clearwater and st. Petersburg Florida.

With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed there was room for our family (my husband, myself, 21 yo, and 19yo) to have our own space after spending the day together and to get ready in thr mornings before heading out. I really appreciated the beach accessories for us to use-towels, mats, wagons, umbrella, etc. We also enjoyed the deck out front. The area is very walk and bike friendly. The hostess was great about communication with information about our arrival via the app and text message.

Wonerful Time

The place was so convenient to everything. Restaurants and stores. CVS is across the street. Beach is a very short walk. Had everything available for us, There were 6 girls and had enough room for all of us. Would stay there again. Had a wonderful time. All loved it!!

Great Location

This condo is in the perfect location, just steps from the beach which was very convenient. Overall, the property was clean and in good shape. The living room, eating area and kitchen are all open to each other which makes for easy entertaining. The bathrooms are nicely updated. Some things that could be addressed to make for a perfect stay would be new mattresses. The bedding was very nice but the actual beds were not. Both my adult kids, of average height had their feet hanging off the end of the beds as they slept. The king in primary bedroom is large but uncomfortable and fairly soft and saggy. There was no operational beach umbrella, they were all broken and the beach chairs have lived a good life and should be replaced. I also really think they should be kept inside unit or on respective porch as they are just laying under property in carport and anyone could take them. The largest issue was serious construction going on in the unit above us. As a realtor, I know this was likely not last minute as that is what was communicated to us when I texted owner. ANY kind of heads up and/or discount would have been appreciated. We were awoken very early, had high levels of noise and then dirt/dust/sand dropping on us on the outside deck from above. They did stop on second day once I inquired about what was going on but started up again early on our day of departure. This unit has the capability of being almost perfect but for some of these unfortunate snafus.

Great Quiet Location on IRB

We had a rough start to our stay because we couldn't get a hold of the owners for entrance requirements. As soon as they answered the phone they took care of everything in a very timely manner. We enjoyed the property and even the little extras, like beach chairs. Thanks for the great Thanksgiving Holiday memories!

Great Beach Retreat

We have stayed here before and feel it is a hidden gem. The home is clean and convenient to everything. Steps from the beach. We only use the car when we go to the grocery store. Only concern is the mosquitoes on the porch. We left a citronella candle and used bug spray. We are already planning next summer’s visit before all the weeks sell out!!

The house is cute and in an excellent location Walk 15 seconds and you’re on the beach the house was clean, had beach chairs to use. a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance

5 stars only because I can’t give it a 6!

I almost jokingly put “don’t stay here” in the title because I don’t want to fight with the rest of y’all for booking dates when we return. Couldn’t bring myself to do that though as this was such a great news place and location. Beach is so close! Quick walk across tiny parking lot over a short bridge and boom you are there! The locker eith beach supplies was great! Like take a penny leave a penny we borrowed some things for the beach and left a few things for the next people. Umbrella in the locked was great! CV down the road has more of you need shade. I recommend getting some shade! Beds are comfy. Despite have 2 different families above us over the course of the trip there was not very much noise from them walking around. The location food was great! We walked to dinner most nights. JD and ice cream shop are must stops. PJs was meh IMO

Best Place Yet

Extremely clean on check in. Linens, towels etc were very nice, not old. Special touches such as sponge/dishwasher pods set out, new soap containers, etc were great. Extremely comfy KING bed.. Had everything we could need- everything worked perfectly. great location with walk to places for fun and food. Got good recommendations and area information the Guest book. Lots of chairs and beach "toys". It was the best beach place we have stayed at yet.

Fabulous place!

My siblings and our significant others stayed at this property for 4 days. It was a fabulous time, just steps away from the beach, Crabby Bills, CVS and a cute coffee shop called Pipo & Betty’s. We had such a nice time with the direct beach access and the outdoor balcony at the property. The owner was so easy to work with and was a wonderful communicator. We would definitely stay here again!! I highly recommend.

Location was great

The location for this cottage was wonderful! We loved having such a close proximity to beach access. I will say that the shower heads in both bathrooms were awful. Also the shower curtain in the main bathroom was moldy. Communication was great. Access to parking was easy. Proximity to beach was perfect.

What a Nice Getaway

Everything about this property is as was expected from the listing. There were no surprises. And that's what was so great. The location, the apartment layout, amenities, it was our escape. We rented out the lower level of a 2 story condo, and it was enough stairs, if you needed to climb stairs. Just a minute stroll to a quiet powdery sanded gentle beach. Quiet though adjacent to the local main drag, while enjoying life on the deck. Under the elevated condo plentiful beach supplies available for use if you need them. A bbq and relaxing chairs available if you desire. A shower outside below the apartment to wash off beach sand. A quiet little beachfront town. More shopping and restaurant choices just a 5-10 minute drive. The apartment amenities, again, home away from home. And if you want to go north or south to other landmarks, nothing is far. Any questions, and owners Udalmis and her husband are nearby and quick to respond. If you need a tropical escape to clear out the mental cobwebs of life, this is it.

My kids and I stayed here for a short 3 night stay. Everything we needed was here and the owner was very easy to communicate with. It's a nice little area with great beach access. It's within Walking distance to local restaurants.

A great time

Super place to stay, all the necessities and more. Check in was easy and Idalmis was prompt to reply to any questions we had. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and a child and the beach was only a couple minute walk away if you walk slow. The only complaint I have is I wish we could have stayed longer but we are already planning for next time. We had a great time and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Idalmis for having us.

The Family Had a Blast!!!

Loved the beach house vibe and location, it was just what we were looking for! We rented both top and bottom units for my family, my mom flew out from California to stay she was in love with the house and the vicinity to the beach as well! Loved the firepit and the fact that the kitchens had everything you could think of, utensils, coffee maker, blender etc. We will definitely be adding this as one of our yearly family vacations!

I grew up spending part of every summer at Indian Rocks Beach. I have traveled all over the world and still consider this one of the prettiest beaches I've ever visited. I enjoy the small town laid back island feel found in this beach community.
