You get what you pay for in terms of the room. Makes up for it with an amazing location walkable to downtown Montreal. Would book again.

The Vrbo was extremely cold with no clear temperature control, the backdoor was locked with duck tape, and two of the doors lacked locks. There was a host of other issues as well.

Great Location.

Contacted Sam about some issues that needed attention and he responding very quickly and went above my request s to correct them. Great location near restuarants and bars and transit. A few things were a bit rough around the edges but that is to be expected in an older building.

This place was NOT safe. The front door lock was jiggly and not safe. The side door lock has duck tape to keep it secure. We did not stay. Due to safety concerns, we did not take pictures of the locks. We just got out of there. This is also a sketchy area. Despite safety concerns, we’re not given a refund. It is sooo much smaller than images make it look. Do not stay here!!’

Communication Breakdown

When "Sam" the owner first communicated with me, I was hopeful that this property was going to be sufficient even though we didn't expect luxury. All communication stopped, even though I was promised if I needed anything it would be taken care of. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests for 4 days is what was left for us...metal transition pieces that were sticking up from the floor that I offered to fix as they were very dangerous ( 3 of us stubbed or cut out feet) but again no reply. Not a bathmat, bottle opener, dish towel or dish rack to be found and if you hoped for a simple broom and dust pan, you'd be out of luck. Unkept and very below normal standards. No temperature control was the final straw as we roasted in that place and the temp was on 21. This place deserves a -10 stars
