Cozy secluded cottage in center of town

Come and go as you please in this stand-alone cottage with a private entrance and off street parking. Our modern yet cozy cottage features 260 sq. ft. of modern air conditioned living space consisting of a large granite bath with walk in shower and one room that is comprised of a double bed, dining table for two and a granite top efficiency kitchen with double sink, full size refrigerator, electric range and microwave. The room also has a high definition TV and the use of free Wi-Fi.

Enjoy the outdoors – relax and enjoy the orchids on your choice of two private patios with table and chairs as well as a gas grill. Walk just 40 yards to the mile-wide Indian River and make use of our picnic table right on the river. Or take a stroll on the lighted “Indian River Walkway” to the park, marina, restaurants and tiki bars. Within a 5-minute walk are food and drug stores as well as a Walmart.

Sebastian is an uncongested and safe community located just 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean beaches where you won’t find any high rises - just natural dunes with plenty of free parking and showers. The Orlando attractions are one hour away and the chic town of Vero Beach is 20 minutes to the south. Melbourne and its airport are 20 minutes to the north.

This cottage is the perfect getaway for two people any time of the year at a very affordable price.

Riverview Sebastian Cottage

The property was beautifully landscaped and private and offered relaxing outdoor area to relax by the river!! The cottage was adorable with full kitchen- very cozy and perfect location for walking distance to all of the outdoor restaurants on the river including the Tiki Hut, Earls, Captain Hirams and a couple of great microbrews!!! We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend stay !!!

Cottage on Indian River Drive

Perfect location for walking every day in a safe environ. for single woman. I felt safe even in the secluded loco. Wish I could have met the renter in person.

Quiet and Quaint

The cottage was secluded and nestled among other buildings and a lrg wooden fence. It is old and eclectic furnished, very small bed, needs lots of TLC and updated but was clean and quite.

Great location for walking

The place was clean and efficient! I notified owner that there was no smoke alarm and she told me there is a fire extinguisher. A smoke alarm is needed for safety! Also the lighting down the walkway to the secluded cottage did not work.

I arrived and couldn't find the key it was left inside unlocked property. Very distressed surroundings and smelling of a can of Glades air freshener was just sprayed. Went to lock my belongings and door lock didn't work inside or outside. I left and found another property. I didn't feel safe or clean here. I contacted property manager. I expect a refund thank you. Sub par weekend stay

Listing was not as described, property was not maintained outside area was trashed, moldy curtains hanging outside separating areas, broken plant pots, inside the bathroom had moldy wallpaper, old towels, dirty bath mat. The single AC unit could not keep cool- message to property manager resulted in a message that only stated "check settings" with no further communication. There was a dehumidifier that was full and we had to empty ourselves and it smelt musty on entry. We left a day early because the lack of communication with the manager nothing was appearing to be resolved or even discussed. Absolutely horrible experience.

Do not judge this book by the cover. When you first pull up to the property you will see and smell some beautiful Jasmine all over the fence. The siding needs some repair but it is very cute. The inside was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable and the small (and not very loud) window air conditioner was more than adequate to keep the room cool. It was a very comfortable little cottage and the value exceeded the cost.

Convenient and Comfortable

Centrally located, private, small but comfortable unit. Very nice owner. Wi fi could use a booster but cell service is strong. We stayed for the month of Feb. and were able to walk to nice restaurants, drive a short distance to beaches, fishing, and golf. Parking spot is very secure and easy to access right off Rt 1. Would stay again.

Awakened every morning by a rooster next door crowing! The property filled our needs completely. It would be a nice touch if the bed was a little bigger- it’s a full bed. A queen size bed would work.

I felt so comfortable here. It is such a cute, cozy cottage, with a bunch of fun restaurants and activities within a 15 minute walk. My boyfriend and I both agree we would stay here again. I was very happy with my experience.

Cozy cottage

It was a cute cozy place to stay for 2 people. The location was great, we were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to do. If you enjoy outside pubs and tiki bars I highly suggest you stay here. The property owner was great and very accommodating. We would definitely return.

Great stay.

If you are accustomed to fancy accommodations this place may not be for you. If you like a cozy little spot to do you own thing, within walking distance of good restaurants and bars, where you can just hang out and enjoy peace and quiet to read or just relax and enjoy this is a great spot to do just that. Marie was always available via text and took care of us very well.

Cozy, close and convenient to downtown

Admittedly the place is small but that is in the description and I knew it going in. I have a medium sized dog (big plus that the owner accepts pets) and we did fine here for 4 days. The property fronts US1 on the West Side and Indian River Drive on the East. Easy walking distance to local pubs, the boat ramp/pier and municipal park.

A pleasant surprise surrounded with character .

Location is great to walk to and from local places and explore restaurants and even a micro brewery . View was great when walking boardwalk and every one pleasant to meet. Thank you for cold wine and grapes went well with steak we grilled on outside patio.

For the first time, I have decided to rent my cottage to visitors.

Why they chose this property

Sebastian is unusual for Florida. While US Rt One is the main drag, there is not much traffic. This cottage is on my property in the center of town but offers seclusion and the ability to walk to several restaurants and tiki bars that feature live entertainment. I also own an undeveloped lot across a lightly traveled street that is waterfront (the Indian River / Intra-coastal Waterway).
