Our dog, Hazel, took us on a lovely long weekend on Lake Champlain. The cottage was lovely, warm, and inviting. So close to the best part of the Causeway, which was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed paddle boarding. It was a beautiful 4 days.
Fantastic view, great location to kayak and bike the causeway. Very comfortable cottage, reminded us of vacations in our past. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean, well appointed, great views of the mountains and lake. Kayak and canoe provided and appreciated. Access to bike trails right from the cottage. Our fourth trip for the two of us

Brian and family will always be welcome at our Lake Cottage.
Lovely lakeside property. Host very responsive. 2 months ride to bike causeway…perfect! It was a 7 minute walk down the causeway to enjoy amazing sunsets! What a gift :)As we rented in early September, the lake level was too low to swim off the dock or beach but we enjoyed watching the wildlife, including a family of deer wading in the lake at te end of the dock!
Second visit in a few months, couldn’t wait to return and enjoy this lovely home with amazing views. A close walk to the bike path and causeway. Convenient to stores and Burlington UVM. I look forward to visiting again.
Lovely quiet peaceful house with a full wall of windows looking out on lake Champlain. Comfy chairs to watch the bird life. Bedding and beds comfy. Nice bathroom and pet friendly.
Wonderful! The property has been carefully perfected for guests to have a comfortable and restful stay. As an example, I especially appreciated the care that was put into making sure it was easy to keep the entire space at a comfortable temperature. When staying away from home, tending to that sort of thing can otherwise take time and attention away from enjoyment. Even in shoulder season, the location makes it a perfect getaway - especially for birders. The view out the picture windows is mesmerizing. Instructions and communication were crystal clear. Thank you!
We enjoyed the peace and quiet the cottage offered over the Thanksgiving holiday. The views, the fire pit, the star-filled night sky, the quick walk to the Causeway — all exactly what we hoped for in a getaway.
A perfect cottage to relax, spend time with family and enjoy coffee with the beat sunrise! Everything was absolute amazing. We look forward to returning.
My favorite part was waking each morning to the view of the lake! We enjoyed being cozy in the house as well as in a convenient location to all the places we wanted to visit in Burlington. Had a great stay
Great small cottage on the water. We were here in Feb during a huge snow storm and it was absolutely beautiful. Cottage is close to essentials like grocery and gas and a short drive to all the restaurants in Burlington.
Great area, tons of activities for the whole family. Fishing right out in the back yard on the lake. Burlington is 15 minute drive, ECHO center is great for kids and bike/walking path right outside along the lake. This house has everything we needed and more.
Beautiful watching the ice fishermen in the lake during my winter stay. Susan was a great host, and the scones were yummy. Short easy drive into the city center too.
The property was beautiful, clean, and family friendly. My family had such a great time we look forward to going back! The only disappointment was that we thought we could use the dock for our family boat but could not due to it needed repairs we were unaware of. Aside from that it was the perfect quiet family getaway. Thank you!
Lovely cottage with big picture window overlooking Lake Champlain. We enjoyed seeing the sunset and sunrise glow on the water and watching all kinds of birds -- egrets, herons, cormorants, loons etc. all around the property. Thoroughly enjoyed this stay!
A terrific place for rest and relaxation! Community was friendly and inviting! The cottage is very close to the Causeway, so put that on your list. Peaceful, relaxing environment and exactly what we needed. Cottage was perfect size and spotless!
I had a great time at Susan‘s cottage on the water and the best part for me was the mornings and soaking in the breathtaking views over the lake. Property was well appointed and communication with Susan was excellent.
We were absolutely stunned by the beauty of this cabin on the lake. It far surpassed the pictures. We loved the location and biked every day on the causway and South Hero. The cabin was super cozy and comfortable for us. We enjoyed coffee every morning over looking the beautiful lake. It was the perfect spot to slow down and unwind. Thank you Susan for making this so easy and welcoming.
