We needed a place that would suit a group of eight, and this venue was perfect. This is a large, spacious home with many bedrooms, many of which can be shared. Close to amenities, but with a good amount of privacy.
the house is very spacious, great rooms, comfortable beds, very functional bathrooms and kitchen.. kitchen well equipped with all needed.. the only thing that needs to improve a bit is the internet signal as wifi was quite hard to get. but overall, great experience.. manager very accessible.
We’re a group of high school friends from all over the country meeting to celebrate our 60th birthday. Very comfortable stay and enjoyed our reunion. Host was prompt in communications. Thank you for a memorable gathering.
As several of the listings attest to, this house is well set up for reunions—many beds, couches and ample parking. If you are looking to be in Maryland close to Bethesda or a reasonable distance to DC the location is very good. The neighborhood is quiet and good for a nice morning walk. One key for a large group is not ideal; a keypad would probably go a long way.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Internet
the entire stay internet did not work. We had people who had to work using internet and for that reason, they had to go to the hotels near by to be able to work, causing us extra money and lots of embarrassment for me as a host.
I expect 25% refund back to me.

A true party house that fell short…..
I rented this property for my 40th birthday party. The intent was to have a semi-formal dinner party for friends and family coming from all over the US. Overall, I must say that the space is good for a big group of people. There is enough space for small groups to congregate and large enough areas for the whole party to come together! The real disappointment with this property is that when we arrived the house was FILTHY, the appliances are grossly out dated or broken, there were not enough beds for my 20 guests, and the general lack of maintenance. Manny was attentive to each of these concerns, but it did put a negative spin on the whole weekend.
The dirt: When my party arrived on Thursday it was immediately evident that the house had not been cleaned. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, hair balls in the showers, dust balls the size of softballs in the bedrooms, and the floors turned our socks black! We had to clean the kitchen before using it, it was that gross. Generally, it was pretty disgusting.
The kitchen: It is not equipped to handle a semi-formal dinner party. If you plan to cook this place is not for you. The appliances are grossly out dated. The oven element fell during cooking, and the range top was questionable at best (we could not get a large pot of water to boil).
The beds: The house does not sleep 20 people. When I inquired about this fact before I decided to rent, Manny agreed to help me out and get some extra beds for the property. Apparently, I was not the first person to request the extra beds. He said that this would not be a problem so I went ahead with the rental. The beds were not scheduled to arrive until the day of my birthday, and one full day after I arrived. To correct this oversight, Manny rented me roll away beds for the first night, but we still had to take time away from the party on Friday to rearrange beds for the delivery and figure out the setup. It was time away from my guests and it was frustrating.
General Maintenance: Other than the kitchen: the fireplace was dirty, the washing machine made terrible scary noises, the hot water heater could not keep up for the size of the house, we kept tripping the breaker because we had to use space heaters, the back porch is falling in, the front door didn’t close all the way…..general maintenance is lacking.
The good news is that Manny will work with you. He has very good intentions.
The bad news is that the house fell short of general expectations.
Lots of space. WiFi didn’t work after first few minutes there and upstairs air conditioning stopped working after first night. The space for a family of 15 getting together for the holiday was perfect though.
Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive and accommodating. It was hard to control the thermostat at first but he sent someone out to check on it. I would definitely recommend for groups who are looking for a nice place to stay that is not too far from everything’s.
It was spacious enough for my large family-8 adults and 8 children. There were a few areas that needed repair and the house is showing it’s age, but my grandkids had a blast. Good place for a large group to spread out!
We came to DC for a Woman’s + World Series and this property provided ample space for all of our team. It was wonderful drinking a morning cup of Joe with all the ladies on the back porch.
We had a great stay - there was plenty of space, all of the bedrooms are comfortable, and we really enjoyed the kitchen with its many amenities and glassware, and we loved having the outdoor dining option. Highly recommend, and we hope to return!
Wonderful place for a family gathering. This is our 2nd year here. We love the well equipped kitchen with easy access to the dining room and large living room. Makes sharing meals with a large group easy. With a ping pong table adjacent to the living room, we can have a number of activities going simultaneously.
I rented this property with my friends for a weekend in Maryland we had dinner at this property and spent some quality time together. Overall the house is spacious, clean, located in a nice neighborhood. I rate this property a 4 star because on the first night i kept receiving phone calls from the property manager complaining about my group being loud but I constantly monitored the noise to ensure it wasn’t disturbing the neighbors and we were not loud which led me to think there might be m a noise detector in the house. But every time i got a phone call, i was calm and respectful about it and told her we i will talk to my group. It was kind of annoying but on the other hand I understand the property manager not trying to be in bad terms with the neighbors. Apart from this, everything else was great. I’ll definitely recommend this property especially if you have a large group but you also have to control the noise.
We had a great stay at this home, it was a short drive to DCA airport, where we were working. We had a ping pong tournament in the atrium that was a great time, could use some newer paddles though. The house needs some work, but was a GREAT value for the group we had. The kitchen was fully stocked, the huge deck was great to hang out on, and the yard is huge for privacy. Thanks for the great stay!!
Beautiful spacious home for the entire family to stay together for a family event in Potomac. Host prepared the home beautifully and checkin and out was very easy. Gladly do a booking there again!
We had a meditation retreat at this wonderful property near DC. The location is great as the property is in a quiet neighborhood, yet very close to the IAD, DCA and BWI airports. The property manager was very responsive and the check-in was quite smooth. The property was very clean and had well-maintained. The whole party enjoyed the place very much and looking forward to coming back again.
Thirteen friends and I had a wonderful time while we visited for a long weekend! We thoroughly enjoyed the house, it accommodated our group perfectly and the whole town is beautiful.
We had about 16 people stay for a wedding in Bethesda. The house was in a beautiful neighborhood and had plenty of rooms and beds and a large dance floor in the basement. The house is a bit outdated but overall was perfect for our needs. Manny was communicative and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.
Great location for our gathering. Very quiet. Nice walking and hiking trails nearby. Excellent communication from listing agents. Fast response time to questions and property is as advertised on web site. A bit dated but perfect for the needs of our family.
