Disappointing. First thing I have to speak to is on night three, we came back from Knotts to the power being out. Not in the building or even the hall - just our room. Sent a message through the app, waited 15 minutes…and then used the emergency text to reach out. They said they’d figure it out. After an hour of nothing, I text again and they said there was nothing they could do there that late. So, They sent us to another room - had to wake up the kids to move. Fun. New room had the loudest portable AC units, but at least it was cool and we could charge our phones. Returned back to room in the morning. Power came back on around 9am. No reason or explanation. But we lost all our milk, fridge items, and a birthday cheesecake for my daughter (who got to move rooms for her birthday). I asked for some compensation for our troubles and have had silence for the last 6 days. Now the rest. Check in had so many steps it made us all anxious. Rules on AC thermostat kept the room warm. One of the two lights in the entry/kitchen was out. Speaking of lights, the lamps in the room corners were pretty cheap. Our room lamp had to jiggle the cord at the power outlet to make it work. The upside- Glendale is a good town and the room is so close to all sorts of good restaurants and shops. Very safe place and parking is fairly easy and safe. Overall, this is at the bottom of my VRBO experiences, unfortunately. Any attempt to compensate for that ruined night might have prevented this review.
