This studio is perfect for the vacationers who wants to spend their time out and about exploring the island and still have a very nice, comfortable place to come home to. Many guests feel there is no need to rent a car. Speedy Shuttle runs from the airport to Island Surf.

Free WiFi, Free Parking, AC, Keurig Coffee Machine, Mini Refrigerator, Microwave & Cable TV. There is no kitchen.

It's next door to South Maui Gardens: 14 food trucks in a beautiful tropical location filled with fountain statues and live music and Luaus, Hula Shows, Comedy Shows, Farmers Market. You can walk to “The Triangle”: South Maui‘s Entertainment Center; live music, bars, local shopping and restaurants.

We provide beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler on wheels, hair dryer - and a copy of “Maui Revealed” for guest use.

There is a solar heated pool on the 2nd floor with 2 gas BBQs, tables & chairs. We're minutes away from Foodland Grocery, a movie theater, and a Maui bus stop.

Clean room, air conditioner worked, bed was comfortable which was a nice surprise. Dive shop was just behind it (where I spent most of the trip). Location was right near the beach, and the food garden. Overall area and stay were just what I needed. The owner was great, messaged me with lots of information, and made sure I had everything I needed once I arrived. Would definitely stay again. (I stayed for 3 weeks)

This place has everything we needed. It has a fan and AC and a lot of beach supplies so we are always comfortable. The bed is comfy too. The host Ligia is very responsive and offers lots of help!The location can't be beat. Walkable to lots of food trucks, restaurants, Foodland and many beaches! South Maui Gardens is right next door and it's such a chill place with live music, shows, events. We learned to surf at the beach right across from the studio!

I stayed in Maui with my best friend for a week and we were in between 3 places. I am SO HAPPY we stayed here! Everything was walking distance. The beach park was in front of the building but the beach to swim was only 10 mins away walking. The South Maui Gardens was also right next door which is a beautiful plant nursery with food trucks, live music, small cute breakfast places, and events that a lot of people drive to. We only used our rental to go explore Hana and the luau in Lahaina because everything was so close. The room was absolutely perfect and comfortable! 10000/10!!! :)

Great location with overstocking of amenities. Everything was great except the quality of the A/C unit. It's a small room but still wouldn't cool the room till 4am or so. all else was perfect.

Excellent Maui getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this apartment. The room was just as described. It is located on the 6th floor and there are elevators or stairs to access the room. Parking was not a problem. You are across the street from the ocean, one block away from brunch spots or food carts. The area is quite convenient. Communication was prompt and helpful. The room itself is simple but the small amenities like beach chairs and boogie boards are a nice touch. We would stay here again.

Great location

We had a great stay, we regret running out to the store to get necessities because once you look around the unit pretty much what you need is there. From beach equipment to cleaning supplies. There are a lot of food carts, restaurants etc in the area that you can just walk to. One of the highlights for us was the beach, the beach is right across the street. The water is warm and pretty. We stayed in the water up to our necks for about an hour. We definitely recommend staying here, if you need anything the owner is available to accommodate.

We brought our unit at the Island Surf because of the awesome Ocean View and location.

The Island Surf is conveniently located on the South Shore in the heart of Kihei. Shopping, activities and the beach are just steps away. We are within walking distance of great shopping, restaurants of all types, a grocery store, car rental, South Maui Gardens, The Triangle.

Enjoy the swimming pool located on the 2nd level and rent bicycles, surfboards, snorkel equipment, and diving equipment right in the building! Want to try your hand at surfing? Rent a surfboard and walk directly across the street to enjoy riding the waves.

The Island Surf is located in the heart of Kihei, across the street from The Cove beach and Kalama Ocean Park. The Cove is known as the best place in Maui to learn how to surf; sign up for surfing lessons, carry your surfboard across the street to the gentle surf and begin your Maui Surfing Adventure. Rent surf boards, paddle boards, diving equipment, and kayaks right in the building. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Walk to any of the many delicious restaurants from award winning Food Trucks to five star fine dining and night life.

What makes this property unique

You are located in the Heart if Kihei. The Cove is across the street and known for its gentle waves and sunsets. Watch for turtles eating off the rocks. Kihei Road is the main street in and you will find the center of Kihei's tourist attractions.

On the 1st floor of the Island Surf building you can sign up for surfing lessons, (the Cove’s waves are perfect for beginners), Grab and Go, Saltwater Cafe restaurant, get a massage, hair cut or even a tattoo. Next to the building is a huge nursery and food truck park, Blue Door Bread Company and coffee spot.
