- One of a kind, luxurious & Bohemian/Moroccan themed 1 Bedroom apartment (1 Queen Bed & 1 Full Bed) - New apartment construction within a charming old house - Across the street from beautiful park which is newly renovated with a playground, basketball and winding paths. - This park is also a wetlands and good for bird watching - Close to Napa & SF Bay Ferry - Relaxing Private Patio & garden - This is a safe and welcome space for all folks
After 2 years of the biggest labor of love of my life, I have finally finished structurally retrofitting this 100 year old house (built in 1924) and adding a whole NEW apartment to the lower level of my home. If I do say so myself, it is a stunning, magical and comfortable space designed in a Moroccan/Turkish themed space. You will enjoy a very unique stay.
Inside the apartment, you will find a colorful and unique space to relax in. This includes a kitchenette set up with a coffee maker, electric kettle, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, cutting boards, dishes, glasses, and utensils like flatware, wine & can opener, cheese grater etc. It DOES NOT have a stove or hot plate.
There is Wifi via fiber internet and a smart TV in the comfortable living room. The expandable dining table offers a space to work from home.
The beds are memory foam and plush (even the murphy bed). There is room for storage of clothes and a space to hang them up.
The bathroom shower is something to be seen and experienced in person (which I designed and tiled myself).
You will have the whole lower level to yourself including a private patio. I am a professional landscape architect so designing my own garden was a given. It was newly installed as of October 2024.
There are a few outdoor cats that lounge around in the back yard. They are all very chill and one in particular is very friendly.
While Vallejo might not be as typically sought after as Napa or SF, it is very central to both and can offer charming local food, drinks, and nearby sights and activities. The apartment is a 4 minute drive to the ferry that takes you straight in to the city and a 20-25 minute drive in to Napa. I lived in SF for 8 years so I can offer some suggestions there if you'd like. Vallejo has a lot of history and culture and is also home to the Bay Area artist E-40 who grew up a few blocks away.

Welcoming host with Great communication offers this unique and well appointed apartment.Parking right out front, this stay offered exactly what we needed, just a short Uber ride to the local legend and well known restaurant “The Dead Fish”.We absolutely fell in love with the decor and, the host was close by to supply ice for our Friday night happy hour! The provided space heaters were an added plus for the cold and foggy evening. The beautiful bathroom tile work and artsy furnishings were well matched. We loved our short stay, thank you!
We stayed here as we had a party nearby for the Memorial Day weekend. The apartment was clean and decorated nicely. The host was very comunicative and nice. Will stay here again if ever in the area.
We had a lovely time staying here. The host was lovely and very accommodating. It’s such a cute little place with everything you need (including delicious coffee which made the morning so nice!) Our little family of four slept great and were able to really enjoy our day at the music festival.
Yes to most all. The neighborhood was more family than shopping with a nice new park only a few feet away, Shopping was fairly close as was access to freeway. Our host and the property were great. Quiet, so much friendlier than a hotel. Charla has done a great job on her yard with all native plants. Room is as described; beds are great. Nice yard out back for our Lab. (unfortunately she helped herself to the available cat food, oops!) Thanks, V&K The Callahan's enjoyed the stay.
It's clear that this little apartment is a labor of love! The decor is charmingly reminiscent of India, with careful attention to detail, and very clean. The mattress on the four-poster bed is firm and comfortable. Bedding is good quality, soft and warm. Towels are thick and soft. Outside there is a private, pleasant place to sit and think, enjoying the sound of a water feature. The cats are a delight, and don't get on the furniture or even come inside (except for one friendly boy who visited briefly), so shouldn't be a problem even for someone with a mild allergy. There were a few things we didn’t like, but those had more to do with the fact that we're probably not the ideal demographic for this location. These caveats are shared not to criticize, but because, as an older couple with some mobility issues, we'd have found the information helpful With the murphy bed down, it felt cramped - we had to squeeze past each other and there wasn't really anywhere convenient to put our suitcases. The mattress on the murphy bed is good quality, but too thin to be comfortable for a heavy person. And access to the apartment was a challenge; you have to lift and carry suitcases along the gravel pathway, and there are a few stairs to navigate with no handrail. This apartment would be ideal for a couple in search of a romantic retreat while exploring the area, and it would work for two couples who just want a place to sleep.
