Cozy Bedroom with Private Entrance, Bathrm and nearby Lake Michigan View

Private corner bedroom on the ground flood of a corner Cape Cod Home. Comfortable bedroom accommodates two, with private bathroom, private deck, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and streaming service available. Located in a great neighborhood, on a quiet street just two blocks from scenic lake Michigan. We are within 3-5 miles from marina and train lines to Chicago and Milwaukee. Patio is available for outside relaxation. Comfortable five to ten minutes' walk to the lake Michigan where you will enjoy the beautiful and refreshing view of the open lake.

Local Metro service one block away and train station with access to Chicago and Milwaukee is on the bus route.

Guests are welcome to use the wireless/Internet on their personal computers. Groceries, drug stores, laundry marts, dining are all located within minutes from our home.

This property was just what I needed during my recent trip business trip. Carleton and Catherine are excellent and thoughtful hosts, communication throughout the process was very smooth and helpful, they put care and effort into providing a very clean place for an affordable price and an excellent VRBO experience. Being an attached room to the house was no problem, everything in the room was securely separated for privacy, and as with any place I was happy to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and get much needed rest from my travels.

Nice, clean spot for one person if you're looking for a basic room for a night and don't mind a little family noise from next door. Enjoyed the front deck for sitting outside in the evening and in the morning. Not a lot of space inside - a little tight to negotiate around the bed (which was quite comfortable) - but sufficient for a short stay. Uneven floor levels in the small bathroom were tricky since I had an ankle brace and the shower stall was slippery. Interaction with the owners was good and they were very friendly and welcoming.

Cozy, quiet room

This room was exactly as listed. Check in was very easy, the room was very comfortable! Appreciated all the “extras” - books to read, good coffee, soap/shampoo in the bathroom, etc. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.
