Hello and thank you for visiting our listing. Please note that two other properties are available for you at property # 2214479, and property # 9275624ha

This is a perfect place for your vacation or a simply weekend getaway. It's located only 90 miles or 90 minutes away from New York City in a peaceful, amenity-filled community. There is a California King bed, two queen beds, one full bed and two twin beds across the bedrooms.

All year round you can enjoy Aquatopia and Kalahari Water Parks, Crossing Outlet Mall, and other malls in the vicinity of the house. Multiplex movie theater is located in one of the malls so a movie night is possible if you feel that the 130" projector screen in the home is just a tad too small ;-)

In the summer you can have fun at Camel Beach outdoor water park, as well as two great community pools, lake beach and multiple playgrounds for kids. 10 amenity passes are included with the rental and no pass is required for children under 5.

Winter activities like Camelback Mountain Ski Resort and Shawnee Mountain Ski Resort are within 15 to 20 minutes easy drive. Blue Mountain Ski Resort is also within easy drive of around 40 minutes from the house.

Home is equipped with all new kitchen appliances including dishwasher, microwave, coffe maker, a toaster oven and more. If you like to cook outside, there's a large BBQ on the deck. Washer and dryer is also available for you to use.

Music and movie lovers, this house is for you. Living Room area features the aforementioned 130” projector screen. There's of course a flat screen, internet connected TV in the Living Room in the Master Bedroom

The community is filled with amenities. There are 2 pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, lake with swimming beach and kids playground, and a lake where you can fish.

For those concerned with safety, no worries at all. Within a 10 minute drive from the house, there are few urgent care facilities and a brand new hospital.

EXCLUSIONS
Unfortunately, due to insurance policy we are unable to rent our home to anyone under 23.

CAMERAS
There are security cameras that are not monitored and recordings are automatically deleted.. Cameras are installed for our guests' safety and are recording outside areas only.

Due to community rules and out of respect to our neighbors, all rental inquiries for proms, graduation gatherings and any other parties will be respectfully declined.

The house itself was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The property is spacious, and the outdoor area is perfect for kids to play and enjoy. We had a wonderful stay once we got settled.The only downside was the entry process into Penn Estates. The community has very strict and somewhat confusing gate rules. Even though our guests were listed, some of them were still denied entry. If you’re staying here and expecting visitors, make sure to submit all required information well in advance, including each guest’s full name and license plate number. Unfortunately, I spent a lot of time updating guest information, and despite that, some of our guests still weren’t allowed in.Overall, the home itself deserves high marks, but the community’s gate policies made the experience more stressful than expected.

Daria, thank you for submitting your review. I’m glad you enjoyed the house and rated the property itself highly. Regarding the difficulties with guest registration, the property’s maximum occupancy of 10 people was clearly stated in the rental listing before you booked the house. Both registration forms also clearly stated, “10 guests maximum capacity.” Despite this, you submitted a total of 19 different names for registration. In an effort to accommodate you, I spent considerable time calling and emailing the community office and changing your guest registration multiple times. It was during my days of travel and it created a lot of issues for myself while I tried to accomodate your requests. I also paid the resulting re-registration fees myself and did not pass those additional costs on to you. Community personnel are required to verify guest registrations against the property’s township permit and enforce the occupancy limit. These rules are in place for the safety of our guests and other community members. Unfortunately, submitting nearly twice the permitted number of names—not any lack of assistance on my part—created the registration issues you experienced.

September Stay in the Poconos

Very clean, nice and quiet property. My wife and I stayed for a week with our adult children joining us at various times for a few days. Outlets, golf and Mt. Airy casino were all a short drive away.

Relaxing retreat

We needed a change of scenery and found a beautiful, airy and very comfortable space! The home was so pleasing to the senses. The backyard was absolutely lovely and peaceful. A wonderful escape to the mountains.

Relaxing getaway in the mountains

This property provided plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun. Our family enjoyed the outdoor eating area every night, the fire pit for s’mores, the nearby lake & pool areas for water fun, and our kids loved the playground out back (including daily visits from a deer family). We also enjoyed some hiking nearby. The weather was perfect for all our outdoor activities.

Tom was great! Always was helpful and available. Although Penn Estates when you seen the advertisement seemed like you was able to use all the amenities that was not true that was the only downfall. The house we stayed at was clean, and very comfortable. Loved my grandkids experience with hand feeding the deer. And having the play area right in the back yard. Hot tub was great! Overall experience was amazing looking forward to staying again.

Lovely cottage in the woods

Third stay at Pocono house

This was our third stay at this house. Kids keep wanting to go back--they love it! Very tranquil. For nature-lovers, house is to close to Bushkill Falls, Delaware Water Gap, Big Pocono State Park (if you're really adventurous, the Appalachian Trail is up there too). We haven't hit the ski slopes or water parks, but they're also close to the house.This VRBO house has 160 reviews! Hope it's still available for the foreseeable future--my kids were already talking about going back on the drive home.

LOVE this house

This is an amazing home! Tom And Olga made the booking process very easy and were very fast to respond to any questions we had. Everything was very clean, new and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, which made it easy to cook our meals. Even though we came in the winter, this house would be just as amazing in the summer time. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking.

Been searching for a vacation home for a while when this one appeared on the real estate listing. It was a love at first sight. Few busy months later, the house was ready to open its doors and became our vacation getaway.

What makes this property unique

Floor to ceiling fireplace, high, open Living Room, lots of natural light, great surroundings and very friendly deers that will come to you and eat of your hand.
