Our host was kind and welcoming. The views were lovely from both the water and mountain facing balconies. Kitchen was well equipped. Building is from the early 70s with all that entails: older outlets that don’t all work well, not much storage space for luggage, spotty wi-fi that we ended up not using. This is a nice property but probably not equivalent to the price charged.

We had an incredible stay at Magical Ocean View Oasis. The name truly fits — the views are breathtaking, especially at sunset. Sitting outside with coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening felt like something out of a postcard.The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The layout was perfect for relaxing and spending time together, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Every detail felt intentional and welcoming.The host was responsive, kind, and made the entire process seamless from booking to checkout. Clear instructions, great communication, and zero stress.If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to unwind with stunning ocean views, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent stay! I was traveling for work, but my family came along to create once-in-a-lifetime memories. This unit was in a terrific location, within walking distance to local shops, nearby beaches, and restaurants. I could easily walk to my conference at the Convention Center each day, so I did not have to worry about the hassle of parking. We had three adult couples, so having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was ideal. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed and had every appliance we could imagine. The host was extremely cooperative and worked around our flight schedule which was unexpectedly impacted by the government shutdown. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic vacation stay

Wonderful place to stay. Love that this place had 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, definitely helps a lot when you have a large group. The location is super convenient with so many things walking distance. The host was also very communicative and easy to reach. Each room has an AC unit which is blessing in the heat. Highly recommend this place to any visiting groups!

Beautifully appointed, large 3 bed, 3 bath condo. Exactly as advertised. Great view from the balcony. We even saw the Friday fireworks from the Hilton. A short walk to the beach. Other than a problem with the door code that was addressed all was good. Close to restaurants, shopping and bars. Older building but huge and well-maintained condo.

The property was a bit older than I expected but was nice and well furnished. There was an issue with the air conditioner but it was addressed. The location was good but it was quite a walk to the beach at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The host was lovely but it was hard to reach her sometimes.

We had an amazing stay at this Waikiki rental! The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach, shops, and great restaurants. The unit itself was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like, beach chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen.The view from the balcony was a great bonus, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or a relaxing evening. Great Little Condo on the beach

This place was perfect for what we needed. The beds were super comfortable. there were beach chairs and an umbrella for us to borrow. The only real downside was check in was coordinated and in person and the property manager is not on site. which might be fine if you were coming straight from the airport, but we were switching accommodations mid trip so we had to miss a beach morning to split off and check in. I would have much preferred to check in with a code asynchronously. other than that, solid choice!

Balcony was nice. Kitchen and refrigerator were clean. Floors left our clean feet black. Host wanted to meet in person, we were a few minutes late. I had to call her to see if we were at correct location. She contacted me directly via phone and text vs VRBO app. Spoke with her and agreed on 3 pm check out. Confirmed with VRBO chat. Came from beach at 12:30 and she and another lady were standing inside our unit. We did not have enough washcloths for all guests. Painted floor while weee were in unit, without telling us. I personally walked on paint and ruined a pair of socks. Also ended up killing a cockroach in one of the bedrooms. No in unit washing as listed. No smoke detectors. No carbon monoxide detectors.

Cute and in the Action

Overall this property was nice. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the heart of the action. The kitchen has beautiful appliances and is well appointed. The views from the balconies are not to be beat. However, there's a few things that were bumpy with our stay. 2 out of 4 of the tvs didn't function. One of them, in the first bedroom was literally broken.There is zero parking anywhere near the property. A 40 a day garage a mile away is your only bet. So don't rent a car and stay here. You must meet the owner to check in. And she is lovely. But after flying 8 hours, it was the last thing I wanted to do. It's just a bit unconventional. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay and we were comfortable. Just a few cautionary bits for future guests.

Nice enough but a few suggestions

The hist was very gracious to offer some special accommodations, but in the end, we were left in a lurch as she did not follow through professionally. There probably wouldn’t have been any issues under normal circumstances. 1) I suggest you keep ALL communication with the host through vrbo. There is no reason to provide your personal number. We had a few issues that were communicated through personal text that would have been easier to resolve if we had it documented through vrbo. 2) the host prefers to meet in person for check in and check out. Though she was helpful, it was tiresome after long travel and i felt bad we were later than expected. I appreciate her care, but I feel it have been better to have more automity.3) the damage depisit was 3000 or you have the option to pay a non refundable damage insurance. This deposit seems unreasonably high. Thankfully I received the depisit back. I recommend taking pictures of preexisting damage when you get there to document, just in case there is a dispute.4) fyi street is noisy from the balcony, but the condo is conveniently close to Waikiki. Condo is clean and comfortable enough. No dishwasher and the TVs weren’t working well. She was working on improving these issues however.

The house was in good shape and as advertised. Lots of room for the people. Lack of maintenance was definitely an issue that negatively impacted our stay. TV was unable to connect to the Internet, gas grill didn’t work and external fireplace was not active.
