Point Loma is a seaside neighborhood, bordering Ocean Beach. Known as "Where California Began," Point Loma sits on a Peninsula and is claimed to be the landing point of the first Europeans who made their way to this western state. Besides being historical, Point Loma is known for its easy access to the Pacific Ocean. Nearby attractions include SeaWorld San Diego, San Diego Zoo, The Marina Village Conference Center, Ocean Beach Athletic Area, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Crown Point Beaches, San Diego Gas Lamp District for night life and LegoLand a little to the North

Getting Around
There are plenty of public transportation lines within walking distance (less than 1 minute walk), but if you have a car the freeways are also nearby and easily accessible. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Dog/Ocean Beach.
