This private family lake home is sure to meet a vacationers needs. The home has a master suite with a large bedroom with a king size bed and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a two queen beds. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. This home also has a pack and play if needed, single roll out bed, and also has a queen futon in the front porch. The lake home has a modern kitchen complete with fridge, oven/ stove, microwave and dishwasher. A stackable washer and dryer is also included. Relax by the beautiful gas fireplace and enjoy the calm and peace of the lake. This property includes 40 feet of lake shore with a dock that has enough room for two boats. This home is located close to public access and a public swimming beach. The home has a front yard spacious enough for yard games and there is a bon fire area located in the back of the home.

The house is well designed with adequate space for a family stay. The beds were very comfortable with my sister wondering where the mattress were purchased from. The tiny road between the house and the beach was perfect for a nice long stroll without having to deal with traffic.

Great size for our group. Close to several activities we planned to do in the area and walking distance to a restaurant. The fall colors in the area were amazing and wonderful to walk the neighborhood and see. The views over the lake were beautiful. One of our guests forgot their hearing aids and the host was kind enough to reach out and ship them. We really liked this place for our needs and wants. Beautiful home and cove of Mille Lacs. Docks right in front of the house, from which you can kayak or paddle board. Down the road there is a lovely beach and the huge part of Mille Lacs, which provided wonderful swimming opportunities. The house is well-equipped; kitchen has everything you need, there's a grill and picnic table in the back, games in the cupboard...and good location near Hennipen and Cathio State Parks.

Girls weekend plus baby

A wonderful weekend stay for our family for a girls weekend plus my 1 year old. The cabin is VERY family friendly and had spare fans, games, all the dishes needed, high chair anything we could have forgotten they had it! My baby enjoyed his first swim in the lake and was obsessed with the deer mount! We loved that we could walk to the bayview bar/restaurant! It was a great relaxing weekend. We will definitely come back!

Ladies Weekend

It was perfect for our ladies weekend at a cabin. It was clean and pretty and comfortable. There were plenty of spaces for sleeping and everything you might need to relax and play games and hang out. We liked it so much we would consider coming back in the summer when we can enjoy the lake as well. The host was very attentive and quick to respond to our questions. We had a wonderful time!

We live an hours drive west of the lake home and have spent many wonderful summers and winters at our home away from home. We cherish our time together at 'the cabin'.

Why they chose this property

This property was purchased to be near longtime friends and because we fell in love with the area and all it has to offer. Our children spend countless hours fishing off the dock and the cabin is accessible to so many different places. We enjoy all activities at nearby Izaty's Resort and love that we are so close but have our own home to go back to. Bayview Bar and Grill, a block away, has great food.

What makes this property unique

We tore down the original 'fishing shack' in 2003 and built the new log style cabin in 2004. It has been a true labor of love. We are especially proud of our beautiful gas fireplace. We enjoy the peaceful nights at the cabin and love all the activities during the day.
