About this property

Spacious Venice Home In Quiet Neighborhood.

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, split plan with enclosed porch, extended garage, indoor utility room, separate living room, dining room, and family room. We have central AC and heat with ceiling fans throughout.

Our lot has been Professionally landscaped. There is an HDTV in the family room and an older TV in the second bedroom.

Children are welcome.

Bedrooms ---
Master bedroom and bath has a Queen Bed and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a separate bath with 2 Twin Beds and a walk-in closet. Ideal for a family of four!

Bathrooms ---
Master bathroom has a shower only with no tub.
Second bathroom has a tub and a shower.

Kitchen & Dining ---
We have a coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, electric stove with oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. We have basic pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, glasses, and dishes. The kitchen has an eat in breakfast nook.

The back porch is enclosed and has a table and four chairs.

Winter home for two months.

We are retired and come to Florida for sunshine and warmth. We stay for two months. This home meets our needs extremely well. Our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren can come and visit for a few days. We are close to all of Venice’s activities.

Get away from snow

Venice March 2025

Overall stay was good. Property is located in a friendly neighborhood, not far from golf courses and area beaches.The rental has a well stocked kitchen with nice counter tops and appliances. Nice washer and dryer. Some furniture items in the family room need upgrading as well as the guest room beds are really just cots.Cleaning staff needs to take more time to clean rooms.

A Big Disappointment

This rental was such a disappointing VRBO that I vacated a week early, and would have done so earlier if I could have found a viable alternative sooner. I wish the owners well as they bring their classic East Venice subdivision house back up to par. As a courtesy, I’ve advised them of numerous issues; hopefully, at the very least, the soiled carpeting will be professionally cleaned, the missing blinds will be replaced, and the windows that won’t close will be fixed before the next guests arrive. Nice kitchen.

House is nicely set up with lots of kitchen utensils and great location. Lack of attention by cleaning staff, and this nice house needs some TLC maintence also..

2022 Winter Get away home.

We have had a wonderful two month stay at this comfortable home. This is our third year staying in this home. There is all the conveniences of home including washer and dryer for doing laundry. It is close to the beaches and shopping. Our children and grandchildren come to visit and enjoy a vacation in the warm sunshine. Being half way between Fort Myers and Tampa leave a large area for many activities and events.

Peace and Quiet

Had a great extended stay (3 months) in South Venice. The house is clean, quiet and in a family neighborhood. The home is well appointed with every kitchen gadget you would ever need and lots of extra linens and towels. We used the sun room at the back of the house often. Cool breezes in the evenings. Nice ambiance. We also had a few pets traveling with us and there was plenty of outside space for our pup to get some exercise. Close to several restaurants and with a golf course right down the street. We loved the home and would reccommend it

Nice & spacious home

This home had lots of living space which was nice. It is situated in quiet neighborhood. Perfectly decent stay. Need to wash any kitchen item before use, but large variety of kitchen items available. Lots of spiders were killed daily, but in Florida and heat of summer, it was expected. Be careful of “damage” charges after the fact for unposted or unspoken rules.

Venice 2021

This is the second year staying at this home and have enjoyed the comfortable home. We go to Manasota beach frequently and it is only a few miles away. Also, the closeness to Sarasota and the airport to pick up visitors. We have already booked for next year!

Place was clean beds comfortable owners were accessible for any needs. If you plan on doing much cooking you might want to bring your own favorite pans/tools. Venice is a great little town lots if good places to eat quiet setting and 5 beaches in easy driving distance. (All less than 10 miles from the house) convenient shopping nearby. Grocery Walmart Target

Nice Florida Home in quiet track

We were very happy to find that this property was exactly as advertised. The 2 plus car garage was really nice for storing golf clubs, fishing gear and of course the car. The living room and den both have double wide sliding glass doors that open to the lanai making one continuous open living space. We found the location to be great for quick access to shopping and golf. Every kind of store you need is within 2 miles and far enough from the Gulf to keep the cold March breezes away. Walking around the neighborhood is great and very safe. We have signed up for next year too.

We live on the east coast of Florida and have lived in Florida for over 30 yrs. We are both originally from the Washington, DC area. We love the Venice area as well. The west coast of Florida just seems more relaxed.

We have been coming to Venice for vacations for over 35 yrs and was one of the first places we visited in Florida.

There are a number of close by beaches which are awesome and not too crowded. Within 5 to 10 miles, you can find local amenities like golf courses, a YMCA with pool, county library, lots of shopping, and numerous restaurants.
