Venice Palm Villa - Minutes to the Beach - Screened Patio- Fenced yard!

Palm Villa has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a full laundry/utility room, a screened back patio with an outdoor table that seats 6 people, a fully fenced yard and lush tropical vegetation covers two sides of the property. If you like nature and a quiet vacation, this is the spot for you!

Palm Villa is pet friendly and welcomes up to two dogs or cats to join you on your vacation.

Full wireless Internet access (Free WiFi) is provided and lots of high definition TV channels to choose from on the large flat screen TV as well as a the ability for recording shows that you might miss while you are out enjoying the beach.

Palm Villa has a roomy garage where you can park your car also comes with a remote garage door opener. The garage has an inside entrance to the house and on the way by, you can toss your sandy clothes into the washer! Two beach cruiser bikes, with bike helmets and bike lock are provided as well!

The kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances, dishes and cookware that you might need to make a real home cooked meal when you don't feel like going out to eat. When you do want to go out to eat there are tons of excellent restaurants to choose from. The most popular spot to eat in Venice is at Sharky's on the Pier restaurant - right on the beach at the base of the Venice Fishing Pier. It's a must to be here for the sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico!

The master bedroom has a King sized bed and a bathroom of its own. The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed and a bathroom just outside the room. Two folding twin size beds are provided for extra guests.

All linens for the beds are provided as well as spa towels and even spa robes and slippers for your use during your stay.

Visit beautiful Venice Island. Shop, eat and enjoy the sunny Florida scenery. Venice, Florida is known as the 'Shark's Tooth Capital of the World' and your vacation paradise is only minutes from Caspersen Beach where you can scoop shark's teeth right out of the shallows. Don't worry, these teeth aren't new, they're prehistoric.

Venice is a very beautiful and laid back city and you're sure to meet other friendly people biking the Legacy Trail and walking as you take a stroll or walk your dog. The local area has several dog parks and Brohard Paw Park Dog Beach where your pooch can run free.

Great place

This is a cute little house in a great neighborhood. Enjoyed staying there, my dogs loved the yard, and we all enjoyed our walks through the neighborhood. House is close to everything. The property manager was flexible and awesome.

Peaceful cozy property

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little home. It is very clean, and had everything we needed for a quick beach getaway. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 that includes 2 college kids and our dog. The available cots were very helpful and comfortable. The fenced backyard allowed us to play with the dog worry free. The back patio was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed dinner out there after spending time at the beach. The property is a short drive from the beach as well as downtown shopping and is conveniently located near many restaurants and Publix.

What beautiful place Venice is and what a relaxing place Ruth’s home is to return to each day! All our needs were provided for and our dogs felt right at home enjoying the backyard. Ruth also provided info. for all the local best spots for humans and canines alike to help us enjoy our stay. We would love to return again soon!

Great house for couple on spring break

Came down from the snowy north to get some rays and waves and this house gave us a great home base for that and more. It was comfortable, clean, looked like the pictures, and stocked with all kinds of useful things. We even took the included bikes out for a day of seashell and shark tooth hunting. Daniel was great to communicate with, no issues at all. Would do it again!

Holiday Getaway in Venice

We enjoyed our 3 week stay at Palm Villa in this quiet neighborhood. The nice decor throughout the home displayed the home identifying name with palm tree/coastal decor. We had a couple of minor initial issues (problem with keyless entry) that were taken care of in a timely fashion. The interior of the home was welcoming and very clean. It was nice to have a screened patio for us, and fenced in yard for our dog. However, I would suggest cleaning the patio chair cushions and floor.

Venice Vacation

The location of the home was excellent for the dog park and beach. Our dog spent every morning at the dog beach and she loved it. The fenced in back yard was great for having a dog and it was very private with trees in the back and one side of the yard. Ruth was very helpful in sharing information about the area both prior to our arrival and she also had a very helpful guide book at the house for further information of things to do while in Venice. Being able to park your vehicle in the garage was really nice. Venice is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our time exploring the area. We hope to come back again someday.

Unclean Three star motel at resort prices

We have been coming to the gulf coast from Marco to Venice for 20 years. This house is in a Quiet, safe 1950's neighborhood two blocks from 41 with responsive management. We were happy to be within driving distance of many things we love, Beach, Venice Jetty, Audubon Bird Rookery. The house has some updates but still smells like old cigarette smoke. The garage is too small to fit anything but a subcompact car. The bathroom floors look like they haven't been cleaned or updated. I had to empty bathroom trash and clean bathroom floors from previous tenants which is disgusting. Kitchen cupboards are dirty with dirty shelf liners and almost everything provided is flea market/ budget quality. We stayed at a resort on Saint Simons for less per night than this property. Overpriced for what is provided. I have never entered a negative review before this but we won't be back.

Everything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay and felt like home being there 16 days. All the comforts of home in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We had to extend our original stay and was promptly responded and met our needs. I would recommend our place to any family member or friend!

Great property!

The house was perfect for me and my husband. The owners left a binder of information including menu’s, and local sights. It is a pet friendly property and they even had a section for pets! Everything was at the house you could need (beach chairs, towels, shovels, sifters umbrella etc.) pans, games, books. Seriously, they thought of everything. Easy to get to beaches and to town.

Dog friendly

The check in process was easy . The owners provided many amenities ( soap , paper products , robe/slippers , snacks, beach chairs etc) we appreciated finding a place to bring our 2 dogs for the month . We met several of the neighbors who were very nice ! Would recommend to people looking for a long term rental with large dogs .

Our stay from 1-1 thru 1-8 at this property exceeded our expectations. It is pet friendly rental and was remarkably clean. This property was a great fit for us as we have pets and the yard is fenced in completely. The kitchen is well equipped and appliances are new. As with Covid we cooked in many evenings and enjoyed the dining area on screened porch. The neighborhood is safe and residents are friendly. I will stay at this property in the future. Rick & Diane

Ideal 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with yard for Harley our Wheaten Terrier. Just ten minutes and we were down at E Venice Ave at the shops & restaurants.

This is a wonderful city and the location of this house was perfect as far as getting to places and seeing the town. Close to downtown Venice, which is wonderful. The house had everything we needed to make our stay a good one.

Nice stay at Palm Villa

House was comfortable and cozy. Beds were great. It's an older home but nicely appointed. Worked well for two--would be a little tight for 3 or 4 if you were planning to spend a lot of time in the house. Great screened porch. And the dog loved the big, securely fenced yard. Very quiet neighborhood in Venice. Ruth was great and very accommodating!

Clean house, good location.

Stayed here while having some renovations at our house and this fit the bill. Very clean and comfortable and good for the puppy. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Nicest place we've ever stayed

Ms.Ruth is excellant at communication during the booking process as well as after. When we got there the house was white glove clean! There was a manual with information on the house as well as local things to do. Very helpful! We actually booked a Kayak and Parasail trip off the information she provided. The yard and fence were perfect for our dogs, who also enjoyed the trip. If we do this trip again. I will definatly work with Ms.Ruth again and try to book the same unit.

Palm Villa is located on a quiet neighborhood street and backs up to a wooded 3-4 acre lot. It also has a vacant wooded lot on one side - so it is nestled into a lovely, tropical spot with birds and wildlife galore. At the same time it is centrally located and easy to get to the many local attractions, shopping or restaurants and beaches.

What makes this property unique

We love the split bedroom design of this house - with the bedrooms separated by the living area. There is a screened back patio which is a great way to enjoy the great Florida outdoors without being bothered by bugs.
