Super easy check in to this very comfortable home. Had options of using AC but also opening windows when AC wasn’t necessary. Great location, not far at all from bike trails or to Orleans center. Judith was a wonderful host!
Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent base for all of Cape Cod and the islands. The property itself is set in lovely gardens, is very comfortable and is equipped with everything that you need for a great holiday.
Staying at this property for the second consecutive year, we knew we were returning to a beautiful, comfortable, well-located home. We would not hesitate to rebook every year!

We enjoyed staying in Judy’s home. The house was very clean and comfortable and both bathrooms were recently remodeled and were beautiful. We also enjoyed her beautiful gardens. Would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at Judy’s house. The house was exactly as pictured. The gardens are beautiful. The location of the house was great for everything we wanted to do on Cape Cod. We would return on a future trip to the area.

This house was perfect! This house was the perfect location for my family. Conveniently located a few minutes from Orleans, this house was impeccably located and perfectly maintained. The host was generous and accommodating. We will definitely keep this propery in mind when we are back on the Cape!
This home is super nice and clean. The location is perfect. You can get to any town and any beach fairly quickly. The interior is clean updated and the area feels super safe. This rental had everything we needed…highly recommend. The pictures don’t do the home justice. We travel a lot and the format of the property was perfect for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 kiddos. Comfy and homey. The host was excellent and super helpful through the entire booking. We will stay here again and hope to come back very soon! Book it. You won’t be disappointed.
We have been coming to the Cape for many years. Judys house was perfect. It was described accurately and very clean. The house location is convenient to reach all the parts of the Cape that interest us! Being a quick 10 minute ride to the National Seashore is a plus. Judy was a great host and we will definitely stay here the next time we come to the Cape!

Lynn,
Thank you for choosing my house for your vacation. You are right; you can't beat the location. Ten minutes to the right, you find yourself at the National Seashore, going to the left 7 minutes to the Stop and Shop in Orleans.
My goal each year is to update the house in some way to benefit our vacationers.
Thank you again. Hope to see you soon
I was here to visit the oldest cemeteries. Little did I know at the time of booking, the oldest was right up the street! Three of my Mayflower ancestors' graves are there, plus many other ancestors. It was a wonderful way to start!
Booked this home for Hydrangea Week and it didn’t disappoint. The gardens are beautiful. Judith has cultivated a tiny oasis with plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy her blooms.
The home is lovely, well equipped and just perfect for our first family vacation in six years! Its proximity to our favorite Cape towns and beaches was perfect.
And Judith is a wonderful host, easy to reach and helpful with tips about the area. We look forward to a repeat visit soon!

Roustem,
Thank you for a lovely review. I love my home, and each year I try to improve it. This past year.,we renovated the bathroom on the first floor, designed with a walk-in shower that helps people with physical problems. We also expanded the window so that you can enjoy the garden.
Thank you. Again. Have a great rest of the summer and the rest of the year.
Judy’s home is located at the end of a quiet road in Eastham. The grounds were lovely. The home was clean and comfortable and had the amenities needed to enjoy a vacation. While it was just me and my husband, there is plenty of room for additional guests. There were 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a den with a pull out sofa. We would highly recommend this property and will likely book it again for ourselves next year!

We had a great stay at this house and can’t wait to go back! The house was clean, large and sunny, excellent A/C, nice gardens, a fire pit, and it is in a very quiet and private location at the end of the street. We loved the outdoor shower, it was a great way to clean up after the beach. The house was conveniently located to bayside and ocean beaches, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, Nickerson State Park, and much more. The house has a garage that we used to keep our bikes and beach gear in, which was super helpful. Owner was kind and responsive, check in/out were easy. Highly recommended!

Hi Pamela,
I am so happy that you got to enjoy our home. I am glad you notice how quiet the neighborhood is.
I’m thrilled that you have already booked for next year. If everything goes as planned you will get to enjoy a brand new bathroom.
Thank you again
Judith
Stunning landscaping welcomes you as soon as you pull into the driveway. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the backyard admiring the flowers and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs around the firepit. This comfy Cape is inviting and homey. We felt comfortable in the space as soon as we walked in. We found most everything we needed with ease and were able to prepare meals, do laundry and relax during our week's stay. This property is conveniently located providing access to numerous beaches, points of interest, shopping and restaurants. Its central location also makes day trips to Lower Cape or Mid Cape towns a breeze. The host/property owner was very responsive and accommodating. Look not further. Book your next summer vacation here!

Dear Karen ,
Thank you very much for this wonderful review each year I try to make my property better than the year prior.
It’s guests like you, that appreciate all the hard work that’s involve
It was nice meeting your entire family and hope to see you again soon
Thank you again for your kind words
What a lovely home for our stay on the Cape! Extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming; will return for a longer stay here. It's very well cared for and put together with brand new A/C splits (brilliant during two 95 degree days), a kitchen equipped with plenty of everything (says the cook!), from Roman shades to a gardener's garden, it's an easy place to settle right into upon arrival. Not at all fussy, well laid-out, we felt immediately relaxed, and in "vacation mode", opening sliders to have drinks on the deck. Park-like setting backyard, it's at the end of a street near conservation land filled with birds. Close to the bike trail - a quick 15 minute ride to downtown Orleans (market) or, 15 minute ride the other way, to the National Seashore, Herring Pond, bike rental, deli. Judith, the host who lives in the area, was very kind responding to our local questions on text. Great house, lovely vacation. Thank you!

Thank you Elizabeth for the heart warming review.
This was a nice home base from which to explore Cape Cod. The home was clean and comfortable. The garden is nicely landscaped with beautiful flowers and plants. The check in and check out processes are the easiest we have ever encountered. We did have an issue with the linens and towels. These essential items were not included. The issue wasn't so much that they were not included, the issue is that no explicit mention was made in the general listing that they were not included. We have rented vacation homes over 25 times over the years and this is the first time that linens and towels were not included. Not providing these essential items is an exception that should be clearly communicated upfront. It is very annoying to find out after a long and tiring journey that linens and towels are not provided. It is frustrating to begin what is supposed to be a relaxing vacation trying to find where to purchase these essential items in a totally unfamiliar place.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you had a good time at my house during your Cape Cod vacation; it's so important to me that it meets my guest's expectations. Even though my listing does say no linens and towels are supplied, I can see where this could be passed over. I’m taking your suggestion and changing my listing to put the lack of linens and towels in bold print so that there will be no mistakes, I hope you come back next summer. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.
This was our second stay at Judy’s house in Eastham, we booked for longer this time, and we look forward to coming back again. The house was spacious for the four of us, it was clean, comfortable, and the A/C was great during the heat wave. The kitchen has plenty of equipment to make full meals in. We made good use of the garage to store our bikes and beach gear. We enjoyed many meals on the back porch, with the beautiful gardens and abundant birds. The house is on a quiet side street, convenient to ocean and bay beaches and Nickerson State Park. Judy was great to work with.
From the moment we walked in we were at ease. The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the firepit at night with all the stars, and the garden in the day. Nice to have laundry onsite, and a very kind and responsive host. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Sarah,
Thank you for your kind review of my home. I am very pleased you and your family enjoyed the house and the Lower Cape as much as we do. I look forward to your return.
Wonderful location, close to all the things we enjoy about the Cape. Clean and comfortable, with a well-stocked, open kitchen featuring modern appliances. Very responsive owner. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
The house and grounds were very nice. We loved the decor! The beds were comfortable and the central air was great! It was nice having the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beach. The grill worked great and we also enjoyed making s'mores using the outdoor firepit! The first day the coffee maker died and we contacted the owner and she came by and replaced it with a new one that day. It is close to shopping and our favorite beach, Coast Guard Beach. The neighborhood was quiet so it was easy to relax. I would definitely return!

Hi Brain,
Thank you for your wonderful review .Every year I try to improve the house this year I added the spilt air conditioners I’ve been told that they work very well in each bedroom and the biggest unit takes care of the kitchen in the dining room thank you for acknowledging it he effect.
I take pride in making sure that the grill is thoroughly clean between each guest. .
I have replaced the coffee maker with a Keurig , with the hopes that every one will be pleased.
Thank you again for your review.
I love it when I can meet your expectation.
About the host
Hosted by Judith Perez
Artistic director and owner of a thriving year-round salon spa in Orleans, I've lived and thrived on the Cape raising my now adult sons and now share my home with seasonal guests. I live close by in Orleans on the water so am on call for all of your vacation needs.
Why they chose this property
This beautifully made full-Cape was the first house built on Eastward Drive and has the largest property on the street. The house is light in all seasons, cozy and snug in winter and in summer, blossoms with fruit trees, figs, rhododendron and hydrangeas. The cul-de-sac is quiet and private but only minutes from everything in Orleans, Eastham or Wellfleet.
What makes this property unique
My home, Perseverance, is 7-minute drive to Orleans shopping, 12-minutes to Coast Guard Beach and a whole different state of mind for your time away. When not running a full-time business, I'm out in the garden, so you can have the benefit of a meditative haven when you visit. The house interior is painted with sandy neutral colors which reflect the pristine Cape Cod light morning, noon and night. From the yard at night, stargazing is a must, since Eastham is a dark-sky compliant town.
