Enjoy every memorable moment this immaculate, 2-bedroom cottage situated on a private, quiet cul-de-sac in a beautifully wooded area in charming North Eastham.

This cottage is perfectly situated-off the beaten path, yet walkable to Cooks Brook Bay Beach and close to National Seashore Beaches - Nauset Light and Coast Guard Beach. The cottage is within 1/2 mile of the Cape Cod bike trail, nature preserve, restaurants, ice cream, shopping, and mini golf.

Reserve time at your home away from home where you can relax and still be close to everything you'll need. Our professional cleaners pay close attention to all details as they disinfect and clean the cottage before and after your stay.

This well equipped cottage is the perfect escape; you could spend the entire time reading in the SCREENED-IN PORCH, relaxing in a hammock, or outdoors playing games like bacci ball or corn toss. Window Air Conditioning units help cool the entire cottage during hot summer months.

When you're ready to venture out, talk a walk down the street to the bay beach for a swim or a spectacular sunset. At night, grill up some seafood on our brand new flat top grill, or bring in dinner from a local restaurant within minutes of the cottage, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, and gaze at the stars.

Located on a private cul-de-sac, just 7/10 of a mile from sandy, family-friendly Cooks Brook Beach on the Bay Side and less than 2 miles from Nauset Beach and Coast Guard and on the Cape Cod National Seashore. This is a unique find due to this spectacular location and private lot!
This is a non-smoking, pet free home.

Many upgrades are made prior to each rental season. Recent upgrades including new windows, new bathroom sink/vanity, new flat top grill, new HD television with streaming capabilities and more.

July and August rentals are Saturday to Saturday. All other months are flexible!
OFF-SEASON RENTALS AVAILABLE and negotiable!
LONG TERM RENTALS AVAILABLE and also negotiable.

Among the the cottage’s many features are a spacious, screened-in porch with an vaulted ceiling; comfortable dining and sitting areas; private deck; flat top griddle; large outdoor fire pit for barbecues or relaxing and savoring the quiet, star-filled evenings; fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor shower.

Special rates for Fall and Spring ~ fantastic times to be on the Cape! Quiet, no traffic, no crowds, lines or beach parking fees, comfortable temperatures, secluded beaches...

Secluded Location: The cottage is truly a 'hidden hideaway.' Located on a cul-de-sac on a private sandy road, this 1/2 acre wooded yard allows privacy and safety.

The cottage is 5 minutes from Orleans, less than 10 minutes from Wellfleet and 20-30 minutes from Provincetown, depending on the season.

Two adult bikes, beach chairs, books, and games are available for your use. The cottage has a great heater, so spring and fall are very comfortable and the cottage is maintained as if it were a full-time private home.

Off-Season rentals are very reasonably priced.
Our cottage is also available for off-season long term rentals; please inquire for details. Guests should be at least 24 years of age to book.

Hidden Hideaway is very charming. My friends & I loved the fire pit, & playing board games in the screened-in porch. We took a beautiful walk to the beach. We were here in October, so the summer season may be different, but this is a very silent & peaceful location. It's perfect for a small group of friends or a family to quietly relax.

A nice little getaway

We enjoyed our stay here! A few minor issues but nothing major. Could have been a little cleaner, and needs some updating. But overall it was a great little cape getaway spot and the owners were very communicative and accommodating. Fire pit was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely weekend getaway

We had a great time staying at the hidden hideaway in Eastham! The house was exactly as listed, it was a super cute little spot in a lovely and quiet location. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit. You can also see a ton of stars up here! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils etc., there were lots of games puzzles and books for entertainment plus some movies for the tv. The host was very responsive and friendly as well, would definitely recommend this location!

Rustic, Quintessential Cape Cod Cottage

If you are looking for the charm of “old Cape Cod” like we were, this is your place. The owners are committed to keeping the property neat and clean. It’s a short walk to the local bay side beach, It sleeps four adults quite comfortably and we would gladly return. We’ve been coming to the cape for nearly 40 years and have rented several homes and cottages. This is a bit more secluded than others and worth the stay. Enjoy!

Just what we wanted

This place is a gem. It's not big and fancy - just cute and cozy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well supplied. The bathroom is small but perfectly suitable and we enjoyed the outdoor shower, too. Turned the heater on a few times. We loved the biking - easy access to the rail trail & a sweet bay beach just a few minutes away. Easy drive to Brewster for good coffee & also P-town for more biking and fun. Great restaurants nearby. Will definitely come back again!

Our family of 5 is from Massachusetts and the New England area and moved for a job opportunity to Minnesota. We still spend a few weeks every year in our cottage and have many good friends and reliable contractors on the Cape who help take care of the cottage.

Why they chose this property

This cottage was perfect for us with our three young daughters. Secluded, safe, off the beaten path, quiet yet close to everything.

We searched all over the Cape for a few years before fortunately finding this unbelievable place on the best part of the Cape.

Being so close to the Bay and Ocean beaches along with the accessibility to Eastham, Orleans, Wellfleet and Provincetown was important to us.

The outdoor shower was (still is) one of our favorite features ~ even in the Spring and Fall.

We built the fire pit in the front of the property and create many memories with our family, extended family and friends there every year.

What makes this property unique

The attached screened-in porch and adjacent deck helped us get the kids to sleep and still stay up listening to music, entertaining friends, etc. on the porch without disturbing them.

Being so close to the Bay side beach (Cooks Brook) allowed us to make quick trips back and forth from beach to cottage and back, and made for tons of fun at both high and low tide for our whole family.

We are also able to enjoy the nearby Ocean beaches (Nauset Light, Coast Guard and Marconi) and make the most of our Cape Cod experience every time we're there. We make sure to catch a sunrise or two over the ocean every year since it's so close.

Nauset Ice Cream features unbelievable homemade ice cream and is only 5 minutes from the cottage. This was a definite plus for us ~ along with the incredible and nearby fish markets in Eastham, Welfleet and Orleans.

4th of July on Cooks Brook Beach is a ton of fun where you can watch fireworks up and down the Cape Cod Bay.

The yard is not grassy however it is large enough for running around and family games. Being on a cul-de-sac on a private road allows for a lot of space to play without any traffic. The trees on the property are perfect for relaxing in a hammock!

Last but certainly not least, the SUNSETS on Cooks Brook Beach (pictured above) are absolutely incredible and make for a nice evening walk before or after dinner.
