The cabin offered us a peaceful & beautiful respite while visiting family during a Minnesota winter. The hoots of the great horned owls in the dark were an unexpected bonus.
This property was clean, quiet and located exactly in the right spot. It was close to golf, state parks and the Mille Lacs Indian Museum. We would definitely stay again!

Thank you so much for visiting! We would love to host you again in the future!
We loved our stay here! Property was clean and fully furnished. The cabin was quiet and just steps from the water. Be sure to check the beach for the kayaks and SUP- they don't always get back to the rack
It was a perfect find!!! The cabins are all well maintained and the lawn area too. It is convenient to many attractions, restaurants, Walmart. Check out Safari North Wildlife Park. It is amazing. Also go to Ernie’s on Gull Lake and Zorbaz.
We really enjoyed staying at this property. The only issue we had was that the internet was very spotty and slow.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're so glad you chose to stay at our cabin! We're sorry to hear the Wi-Fi was slower than expected during your visit. Due to the cabin's remote location, internet speeds can occasionally be less consistent than in more urban areas - especially during peak usage times. We're actively working with our provider to improve connectivity and ensure a better experience for all future guests. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another relaxing getaway!
Perfect location. A little noisy on Saturday hearing BIR raceway. Owners were very responsive. Let owners be aware that their grill was rusted so it was a challenge grilling but hopefully they can tend to this for the next renters. Lighting in the kitchen was a bit challenging but everything else met our needs.
The place was comfortable and well stocked with towels, bedding and kitchen equipment. However, the water had a smell to it and I was not able to drink it. I also had an issue with the plumbing and was without a toilet for 3 days and had to try to find a plumber while I was at work and then report back to the owners multiple times which I thought was inappropriate. And when I found a septic cleaner who would come that night, the owners had a plumber come in to make sure the toilet wasn't just clogged (it wasn't -- I even bought a toilet auger to make sure). The plumber said the line was frozen and needed the septic cleaner to come. We called back and it was too late for him to come that night so I went another night without a functioning toilet. The owners were also more concerned that if the toilet was clogged that I would have to pay to fix it. The internet also went out one night; I informed the owners it was the router and wanted to know where it was so I could try to fix the issue myself. They told me that the internet goes in and out there and to wait. The next day it still wasn't working and they finally gave me the code to get into the other building where the router was while I was at work. They called Spectrum to come and fix it and I had to leave work early to be there to open the building. The only issue was a tripped outlet.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the cabin comfortable and well stocked during your stay of over one month, as we aim to provide a clean, well-equipped space for guests, especially those staying longer term.
Regarding the maintenance concerns, we want to clarify that when the plumbing issue was reported, we responded immediately and coordinated licensed professionals to diagnose and resolve the problem. Because plumbing and septic systems require proper evaluation, we followed standard procedure to confirm the cause before moving forward with repairs. While we understand this was inconvenient, our priority was ensuring the issue was handled safely and correctly rather than risking unnecessary or improper work. Contractor scheduling and winter conditions also impacted the timing.
For the internet interruption, we worked directly with the service provider as soon as troubleshooting indicated an onsite visit was needed. As is common in rural areas, internet service can occasionally be interrupted beyond an owner’s control, but service was restored once the issue was identified.
Throughout the stay, we remained responsive and focused on coordinating qualified professionals so repairs were managed appropriately and safely. We appreciate feedback and continue to improve processes to support a positive experience for future guests.
