Girls Golfing Outing

We were in Brooking for a golf tournament at Salmon Run Golf Course for a couple of days. We rented this beautiful home while we were in town. It is a beautiful, well appointed home that suited our needs perfectly. Pat is a great host and we plan on returning next year!

This is a very nice house, quite large, and very clean. The kitchen is set up with any dishes, pots, pans, cooking and baking items you would ever want or need. We stayed for 8 nights and were quite pleased with the location and the quiet neighborhood. If you like to walk, the sidewalks around the area are nice and wide and there are many beautiful houses and yards to admire. The upstairs livingroom area with the adjoining deck was fabulous on the days when the sun was shining, we spent a lot of time up there. All the bedrooms are spacious, and the numerous windows in the Master Suite looking out towards the ocean were fabulous when waking up in the morning!Possibly my favorite part was the large gas firplace that provided instant warmth and ambiance with just the turn of a switch, we used it almost every evening.Something to be aware of - this house does not have access to a washer and dryer during a normal rental. They are not in the list of amenities for this house, which I admit I did not notice when I was looking at this house to rent. Since this was a complete suprise to me and we were there for a longer than normal stay we were graciously allowed access by the owner to use them, but for shorter stays this is not the case as I understand it. This is not to take anything away from the house itself, I just wanted to mention it as I would have liked to have been aware of this ahead of time.All in all, a fabulous rental close to town and I would absolutely recommend it!
