Very relaxing stay

Just came back from our vacation in North Captiva. We had a very relaxing and easy going stay at Las Olas. The house is very spacious and very clean and comfortable. We will be back on North Captiva and Las Olas!!

Susi was actually at Las Olas on January 10, 2011. They really enjoyed the private heated Swimming pool and went swimming and sunbathing on the private deck everyday.

We had a wonderful time!! Beautiful property- absolutely loved the Lanai, and the lookout deck the Proximity to everything was perfect- beach, wildlife refuge and store. We hope to be back!!

Great Pllace to Rent

This is an excellent vacation property, very new and very clean with a lot of amenities, pool, HD DirecTV, internet, golf carts to get around on the island, etc. I was impressed with the roominess of this house. Also, it is a very good value.

Las Olas - Perfect Getaway

Perfect location, short ride to the beach. Comfy beds, lots of towels, large kitchen with all of the amenities, amazing view of the sunset. On our one rainy day we had a lot to keep us busy, pool table, ping pong, xbox and TV. Would definitely stay here again!

My stay at las Olas was a wonderful experience. It is definitely a 5 Star rental with all the amenities that you would have in a 5 star hotel. You have your privacy in a beautiful home with amazing views....I highly recommend this rental.

We’re a family of five—three boys, a rotating crew of dogs, and a love for adventure. We discovered North Captiva Island by accident during the pandemic. In 2020, we booked a spring break house on Captiva, but it was canceled while we were en route from Virginia—minivan packed, kids and dog in tow.

In a scramble, we found a last-minute rental on this mysterious island only accessible by boat. We were skeptical… but we pulled the trigger.

We stayed for 9 weeks—and completely fell in love with North Captiva’s wild beauty, peace, and the slower pace of life. The next year, we bought a home here and started Las Olas. Then Hurricane Ian hit, cat 5 directly through our house/ Island. We’ve worked hard to reopen in the Winter of 2025.

Now, we're thrilled to share this slice of paradise with other families, and we hope your stay here is just as unforgettable as our first one was. We partner with incredible people who live on the island to greet you and act as host for your stay.
