About this property

Waterfront Escape + Kayaks & Sailboat - Coastal Serenity & Style

This unique oceanfront retreat on Brick Yard Cove features a heated pool, dock, freshwater pond, and wooded trails. The modern architectural gem is warmed by farmhouse textures, minimalist décor, and abundant natural light. Designed for relaxation, work, or a bit of both, the home welcomes groups of all sizes and ages, whether for a weekend gathering or an extended stay. Portland Airport is just 30 minutes away, and direct train service from Boston arrives in downtown Freeport.

This home is comfortable for groups of 8 to 16 guests. The main and second floors sleep 10, or up to 12 when the office couch is opened to a true queen. Oversized windows and doors bring in daylight throughout, complemented by central air conditioning and high speed Wi Fi. Three bedrooms include dedicated workspaces and open to semi private decks, while the second floor bedroom enjoys its own balcony. The primary bath, with steam shower, soaking tub with massage jets, and sauna, offers a spa like experience. For larger groups, the lower level bunk room and adjoining bath provide extra space, with a nearby game and TV room ideal for younger guests.

The grand room overlooks Brick Yard Cove and features couches by the fireplace, a generous dining area, and an open kitchen fully equipped for groups of any size. The kitchen island seats 5 to 8 for casual breakfasts. A large western deck extends the living space with ample seating, a grill, griddle, and pizza oven.Private chefs can be arranged through local providers. Bow Street Market delivers cooked lobsters and prepared deli sides, offering an easy alternative to cooking.

The grounds offer far more than first meets the eye — from shoreline to trails to family friendly spaces, with the full amenities listed below.

Amenities

• Pebble beach with an inflatable swimming platform
• Dock with kayaks and a paddleboard for exploring the cove

• Walking and biking trails, with bikes available for guest use
• Croquet, horseshoes, cornhole, and bocce

The heated pool sits among the flower beds and is a favorite for both kids and adults. Large lawns include a swing, hammocks, tetherball, and classic lawn games. Guests can harvest vegetables from the garden, visit the freshwater pond, or wander the wooded trails with bikes on hand. Evenings often end around the solo fire pit overlooking the bay.

Lower Flying Point Freeport

We had a group of 8 adults and 3 kids under 5yo. All had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it. House has 3 acoustically separate wings and all the mattresses were very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. Lots of things to do on the property so you did not have to leave if you didn't want to; kayaks, bikes, swimming beach, beach toys, swimming pool, bikes, fire pit, outdoor and indoor dining spaces with enough seating for all. Beautiful veg and flower gardens. Great location close to Wolf Neck State Park and Freeport shopping/dining. You will not be disappointed!

Great family reunion

The house was spacious and clean. The view was fantastic. At the house there were many things to do. For young and old alike...fishing lauaking, horseshoes, puzzles, sitting around the fire pit . And then being near Freeport for shopping and dining. Wolfe’s Neck State Park, and the Educational Farm...interesting and fun for all. Great house. Not happy with the VRBO rules and fees.
