Great Stay!

Really great space for our group of friends! Location was just a short walk to everything we wanted to get to. House was clean and well stocked. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any question I had. Couldn't ask for more!

The property was extremely clean and comfortable! The listing was very accurate and we had more than we needed. We appreciate all the amenities such as lotion, shampoo and kitchen supplies. Hopefully when we go skiing next year in Purgaroty we can stay here again! The ability to ski into the property was a huge bonus for us! Thank you!

Good times

The condo is right by the resort which was great. Good hiking, biking, other activities. It was a hot week and there is no AC but that’s pretty typical. Downstairs bedrooms are pretty small. Overall happy with our stay!

Family Ski Trip 2024

This condo was very convenient to slopes and lodge for both skiers and non skiers! It was nice to have several heating zones and plenty of room! The only issue was old bedding in master needed to be replaced. It was very dusty on the couch and loveseat … perhaps it had been a minute since cleaned. All in all I would rent it again!! My family enjoyed skiing and the Durango Hot Springs!

Great Location

This townhouse is conveniently only 6 minutes from the slopes. The townhouse is nicely furnished and held our party of 9 well. I gave the overall rating a 4 for a few reasons: 1) the beds are older and not comfortable, and 2) the property manager only provides 1 additional trash bag, enough detergent for one load of towels upon departure, and just a few rolls of toilet paper. We personally own 3 short-term rentals and always make sure our beds are comfortable and the supplies are adequate. We stayed over Christmas and paid a substantial amount to stay here so I think more supplies could've been provided.

Great Ski Trip

Stayed here for a long ski weekend with a group of 8 friends and we had a great time. The house is well furnished and well maintained. It has many heating control zones for great comfort. There was plenty of room for parking. The management company, Durango Red Cliff Properties, was friendly and responsive to inquires. This unit (#2) does not have direct access to the slopes but it is almost ski-on/ski-off, entry to a nearby slope is possible after a short walk. Experienced skiers will most likely be able to return via a lesser known cat track after sufficient base pack. The master bedroom's attached bath room is open to the master sleeping area. So this room is really only suitable for a close couple. At the time we stayed we found that some of the mattresses were uneven and in need of replacement. Some of the sheets had quite a few stains, in need of replacement. We also had to find linens for the sofa bed before it could be used. There are easily fixed in the future. Overall, this is a great place to consider for a visit to Purgatory.

Very nice property for large group

The property was very comfortable. The only complaint I have is the checkout time. It is very difficult to get everyone fed, the condo cleaned up, and get everything packed by 10 am. I would like to see the checkout time extended to noon.

Nice home

The home is nice. We would have liked air conditioning. We opened windows and turned on fans but it was still a little warm in the afternoon. The downstairs bathroom developed a major clog around midnight on Saturday night. Didn’t know how soon it would be cleared but the repair person unclogged it by afternoon.

The condo was fine but needs Several updates. The electronic, the furniture, etc. this was advertised as a ski in ski out, it was not even close. We were very disappointed.

We had a wonderful time at the Sitzmark #2. It was a large condo that slept our 9 very comfortably. It is a very short walk to the chairlift. The kids all loved the games that are in the condo. Thanks for making our trip easy! We will be back.

Great ski rental at Purgatory

The condo was a perfect fit for our 2 families of 4 adult and 4 kids that stayed for a long ski weekend. The condo was convenient to the ski area, a short walk down the hill to the ski base. Only one adult attempted a ski-in, ski-out from the condo and did so with a little difficulty. The condo was well stocked with everything we could need. The kitchen was well equip with all the usual items that we needed and many things we did not expect such as crockpot, coffee grinder, popcorn maker, waffle iron, etc. The coffee maker had a built-in gold filter which was convenient, especially since we had brought along the wrong shape filters. The only things we were looking for that we were not able to find in the kitchen were a pizza cutter and a masher, both which we managed without. The bedrooms worked well with space for the 4 kids in the bunk room and adults in each of the other bedrooms. The living area was spacious and easily fit us and we really appreciated the stash of games for the kids to play. We used both the Wi-Fi and DVD player without difficulty. The property manager was easily accessible by email and we were able to reach them by phone as well when we arrived and were unable to find the lockbox in the dark. Firewood for the fireplace was provided. The mudroom was great to have to put all of our ski equipment, shoes, boots, coats. There we also 2 sleds in the mudroom that the kids used. There was good cell phone reception in the condo (for Verizon at least). We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and would definitely stay here again.
