About this property
Adorable cabin near beach and Acadia
Cabin Beyond The Bay is located on the beautiful Blue Hill Peninsula with Bar Harbor less than an hour away. Perfect for day trips to the picturesque towns Blue Hill, Stonington, and Castine, all with gift shops & restaurants. Acadia National park is approximately 45 minutes with lots to see on the way. The cabin is located off Newbury Neck, a 10 mile long scenic peninsula with a small public beach & seasonal lobster shack. Bring your bike or walk our beautiful road, you will not be disappointed!
Built in 2024, this beautiful cabin has two rooms. A 10x11 main room with queen size bed, small table and chairs, mini fridge, smart tv, microwave, space heater. This is a semi off grid property with power but not hooked up to a well or septic. It does have WIFI.
The bathroom is part of the same building but accessed via a short walk on deck.
There is no running water to the cabin but there is a water supply hooked up for long hot showers.
The bathroom has a very nice composting toilet, urinal, sink has an electric pump operated water faucet connected to a 5 gallon water bottle. Shower is hooked to a propane heater and water source for hot showers inside bathroom. Repeat, this is an inside shower!
Deck has two chairs and drop down table. Two Adirondack chairs and solo stove for outside fires. Picnic table for outside dining.
Gas grill and outside sink/prep area for cooking.
Two beach chairs and beach towels also provided. Small public beach and Perry's Lobster Shack (seasonal) is just 2 miles away.
If you want a hike that won't take all day, Blue Hill Mountain is 20 minutes away and only an hour to hike up the well maintained trail. Amazing views are the reward.
Several quaint fishing villages to explore in the area all with restaurants and shopping.

About the host
Hosted by Tracy Eisenhauer

I have lived in Maine for 14 years with my husband and daughter. We love the small town feel and all this small peninsula has to offer. I am a local artist in the area as well.
Why they chose this property
Our property is secluded but not remote. We are on a scenic neck of land that has water views, a beach, and a lobster shack. What more could you ask for?
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is brand new and adorable! If you are looking for solitude and a cabin experience without being in the deep woods, look no more. With a beach and lobster shack 2 miles away or Acadia National park about an hour's drive, you can spend the day at the busy park and relax at the cabin at the end of the day.
