It was clean! Great location to every thing! Bring your own pillows! Definitely historic house with a few eccentricities!

We appreciate the feedback! There's no need to bring pillows! We offer at least 9 bed pillows of varying firmness levels and thicknesses to accommodate a variety of guest preferences. Had Susan mentioned anything we would have happily brought her whatever she needed. After reading this feedback we checked them all and replaced a couple that were a bit on the flatter side with brand new product but found all the others to be in excellent shape. Thanks for staying with us!
This is hands down one of the nicest places we have stayed. Very updated, all the kitchen amenities we needed and communication was great. We will definitely be retiring!
I would only say that the kitchen needed a frying pan. I was going to use it to cook eggs for breakfast but couldn’t find one.

Thanks for the 5 star review, Regina! We have a couple of different sized frying pans in the rental, although I apologize if they were on the top shelf in the pantry and not as easy to spot! We hope you can come back soon.
This was such an.amazing place, location was so walkable. The best place we have stayed in the area. Got a great deal in the off season. it was cold out but we stayed cozy here. we walked to the Sift bakery several times for the delicious pastries and coffee. walked to to mystic pizza just down the road. Only thing is if you have small children or knee problems the stairs are steep, like many older homes, but there is a pull out sofa downstairs if someone in your group needs it. There is a fullsize washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, and more! We highly recommend this Lovely, charming home away from home!
This is a great location with a nice laundry area, well stocked kitchen and good size rooms. Tub shower was great as my husband is 6'5" so I was concerned he might have issues but no problems. Location is easy to walk to town and small porch is pleasant for happy hour. Well appointed with comfy beds.
The location (a block to Mystic town) is the highlight at this property. It was also very clean. We (two moms and their young adult daughters) enjoyed our stay here a lot! Criticisms would be that it needs updating (very old shower, old doors and floors, etc) and the floors are VERY slanted through the house. It takes some getting used to, but vacationers should know that before renting.
Great, charming space in a fantastic location - immaculately clean, well set up, and within easy walking distance of everything in Downtown Mystic. Host was prompt and accurate in communication. Parking is limited to one car, but host is up front about that, and there is paid parking a reasonable distance away. Not handicapped accessible: steepish stairs to get into the property, and another set of steep stairs to get to the bedrooms and only barhroom. Sleeps six only if two in your party are ok sleeping on the foldout couch - not more comfortable than you expect a foldout to be - in the living room. Over all an excellent find, would absolutely return if staying in Mystic again.
Less than a minute walk from activities and less than two minute walk than Main St, Kevin's place was excellently located both for our family to rest and relax but also for us to explore. Parking is right across the street in the marina with a special tag, but there are available spots on the street as well. Others have commented that all the floors in this older house are slanted, but the location and the size of the rooms absolutely make up for it. You get used to the floors and layout pretty easily. The bedrooms and living room have window A/C units, which kept the house cool during the warm and humid summer. The beds are comfortable and so is the sofa. The pantry was stocked with utensils and condiments, so you can easily have breakfast or other meals at home (even though there are tons of restaurants and cafes within less than a minute walk). We had our dog with us and she easily adjusted to the house's layout. The only concern I had are the a-bit-steep and narrow steps to the second floor. You get used to them if young/middle-aged, but they are a big no for older people. The property also has one bathroom for two bedrooms (can actually fit up to 6 people with the sofa downstairs) so if you are traveling with family, you need to plan bathroom usage :-) Also, there are a washer and dryer in the unit for a quick wash of laundry. Overall, despite these little things, our family of 5 had a wonderful stay and we will definitely return. Thank you, Kevin!
