About this property

Beachfront 1st Row

Cozy beach house gulf front with direct and visual access to the beach. This house has large patio deck. Sleeps 10 Comfortably. Two full bathrooms & half bath with outdoor shower. One bathroom with a shower the other with a tub. Good for couples trip, romantic getaway and families with children.

-We are pet friendly. We do ask that our furry friends please don't lounge on the furnitures and beds.

-There is no longer a pool as it has been covered for additional deck space.


-Surfside is known for fire ants. We have Action pest control scheduled on a bimonthly basis.


-There is one Ring floodlight surveillance camera with motion detection lights facing the driveway. It is located over the carport. It is recording both video and audio. We don’t monitor it. It is is there just in case for safety reasons. There are no other cameras inside our outside of the home.

-To assist us with preparing for the next guests, we ask that guests please wash and dry used towels prior to departing, if possible. This helps us with the turnaround during busy season. Most guests don't mind and do one load of laundry the morning of departure.

-We don’t provide shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. There will be plenty dish/hand soap, laundry detergent and toilet paper available.

-We don’t provide seasonings, salt and pepper, aluminum foil, paper towels or zip lock bags. Please bring your own.

-There are pots, pans, dinnerware and silverware and grilling tools available. I can provide photos upon request.

-There is a 12 cup Mr Coffee available as well as a Keurig. Please bring coffee and coffee accessories like sugar, cream etc. There is a blender and a toaster available as well as a plastic juice pitcher and cooler.

-There are two tv's with Direct TV. One in the master and the other in the living room.

-There is a charcoal grill on the deck. Guests at bring their own charcoal, lighter and fluid. We do have plenty grilling tools. I can provide a photo upon request.

Great stay in Surfside!

We traveled as two families of four and the house worked great! Plenty of room and a great layout for groups!The location was perfect - just steps from the beach with an amazing view from the large deck.All provided amenities were as described and the host responded to questions immediately.Would definitely book this property again!

This is such a cute house with a gorgeous view! Everything was clean and just as advertised. I had a question about something and the owner got right back to me. My husband and I had a very relaxing stay.

Property was clean and well maintained! Right on the beach and sitting on the deck and viewing the ocean was awesome! The house has everything you need for your stay. Except toiletries, but we always bring our own stuff everywhere we go.

I’m so glad you had a great stay! Thank you for the feedback. That is correct. We don’t provide toiletries like body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. We do provide plenty toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and hand soap as stated in our listing as well as the welcome message we send guests before their stay.

Great location with easy beach access

Great little house for a relaxed getaway. Vehicle access to beach was very close. We loaded up the truck with all heavy supplies and parked on beach in front of house. Then used the walkway to go back in forth from beach and house all day. It was perfect. Kitchen well stocked, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided for cooking purposes. Owners were quick to respond to any inquiries. Only complaint is the deck furniture doesn’t match the pictures. It has a picnic table instead of table and chairs shown in listing. I would have brought more than my low sitting beach chairs had I known, although there are 3 chairs to sit and relax. Otherwise, great house for the price. Would definitely stay again.

Overall great experience

Location was as stated. Very close to the beach with just a short boardwalk to walk. They offered many things for the beach: chairs, firewood (didn't use), canopy and a wagon to help carry it. The house was clean although some wear and tear as expected for a rental home. One of the bed frames broke but fortunately we didn't need the extra beds (8 in all!). The host communication was phenomenal. Very quick and thorough. Thank you! Overall we had a great time!

Great Location, but...

I wouldn't say that it felt exceptionally clean or was extremely well stocked. For the money, I would expect a living room lamp (at least one), WiFi, a working can opener, and a mattress where the springs don't pop you in the back whenever you turn over. Sheets in the main bedroom were worn out and didn't stay on the bed and the bedcovering was the wrong size. Touching up worn paint inside and sealing the floors in the bathroom (you could see daylight where the moulding met the wall) would go a long way to make the house feel like it is worth the price.

Love the House

We had a great time, love the house, beautiful views, clean - everything you want in a beach house rental. We went to Surfside for my grandson's 17th birthday and he and his brothers (ages 15 and 18) loved it. Old Granny (me) was happy to sit on the porch and drink coffee or stroll to the beach and look for shells. The only thing that could be improved was communication. The email with unlocking instructions was sent after we already left home. There were unclear instructions for wifi and how to unlock the garage. We had an email with a password for wifi, but no idea which network it belonged to. We had no way to ask the owners because we didn't bring computers that had vbro passwords on them - no phone number was provided. Not acceptable.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope to host you again in the future. We sent a very long but useful welcome message along with pictures. It included the WiFi information and everything else you needed to make your stay comfortable. VRBO has an app to download on your cellphone but you can also access it from the browser without the need of a computer. Our phone number is available to you on the VRBO booking. You just press call, it shows the phone number and the call comes directly to us. I will send you a private message to help you upload the app on your cellphone for future trips.

There were repairs that need to be made to the property that had not been before arriving. One of those was significant and created a safety hazard which we were lucky did not cause an injury. The owner had a repair crew come in on our second day and do the repair so we had to deal with construction workers on site all that day. The host was very apologetic and took care of the problem, but it was unfortunate that a large portion of the deck, which is advertising many pictures was unusable for the majority of our stay. Plus, another issue was the boardwalk from house to beach was overgrown with the vegetation in that area.

Wonderful Beach House

We love staying at this beach house. Great front row location, awesome view and super clean! The owners are very responsive and accommodating. We had everything we needed to enjoy our long Labor Day weekend. We cook all of our meals at the house and the kitchen is well stocked with needed utensils. Plenty of bath and hand towels. Perfect getaway house.

Best vacation ever.

Great vacation. This is our 3rd visit to the coast and it was the best. Spotless clean, plenty of kitchen items, A deck where you can sit in the shade or out in the sun, and an awesome view of the ocean. Even had a pantry so we didn't have to have food on the counter. I wish they had a table for six instead of four, but there was room at the counter. I will definitely be looking for this place again on our next trip. Thanks again .

Location, location, location. This one has it. The house was perfect for our small family get away. Everything we needed was there. The walk to the beach was about 40 yards away from the house. View was beautiful and there were a few restaurants within walking distance. We played about 1000 games of cards on that dining table. Perfect stay.

Charming beach house with perfect view of beach and easy access to it as well. The house may need a touch up of paint here and there, but it is taken care of and has plenty to offer. Plenty of towels. Plenty of glassware. Plenty plates. Plenty toilet paper. Plenty trash bags. Communication with owner was always prompt. Any issue was handled quickly and professionally. Would recommend!

We love Surfside. It is quaint and relaxing. You can definitely unwind even if it’s just for a short stay. We enjoy traveling, good food, sports and music.
