Loves our stay we will be back beautiful house and very cozy. Check in and out was easy and the property manager was very nice and was in constant communication making sure we had what we needed.
Absolutely beautiful property and home! The home is thoughtfully organized with anything you could possibly need. No matter what room you're in, you're treated to stunning views of the surrounding forest. The upper deck was our favorite spot, outstanding for star gazing and relaxing among the pines. Excellent communication from the host. Looking forward to our next stay at this amazing property! Thank you!
Everything was amazing and comfortable! Amazing host and very responsive. Such a beautiful place, best spot on the block so view and quietness. Will definitely return!
Such a wonderful and soothing retreat. This is our second visit and the host did not disappoint. The home is very clean, comfortable amenities, such a quiet area. The neighbors are so nice and friendly when going on walks. The host is very responsive and this home was so cozy and warm! Love love love this home and location. Highly recommend, and it is close to many areas for hiking.
The house was perfect. The host was very responsive, kind and helpful. Our favorite part was the fireplace in the family room , it made it so cozy. Beautiful wrap around decks. Saw deer and squirrels. 10 out of 10.
This place is amazing. I want to live here!!The property is in a neighborhood, but seems private. The architecture is fun and unique. We had a relaxing and peaceful stay. We saw elk, deer, squirrels and a variety of birds. The only thing that will keep me from staying here again is the beds are the second worst beds I've ever slept in. If the beds were changed, we'd probably stay here a couple times a year.
We had the best time staying in this beautifully built cabin over the weekend, apart from the beautiful cabin the host is really next level! We have stayed at quite a few cabins as a family of 5 but none have ever been as meticulously equipped as this one. We like to be well prepared with our necessities but really we did not need to bring anything with us other than groceries and clothes. Everything in the cabin is organized and labeled to make the stay a breeze. The kitchen is fully stocked and organized, the bathrooms have fresh clean towels as well as toiletries, feminine products are available and lots of games/activities for the kiddos! We had a blast, thank you for going above and beyond for your guests!

About the host

My husband Andreas and I live in Cave Creek, AZ with our two children. We like to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping and being in nature. We are excited to share our peaceful mountain retreat in the high country and everything it has to offer!
Why they chose this property
Our home sits at the end of the private road surrounded by tall ponderosa pines. The back of the property transitions into the Tonto National Forest. You may encounter all kinds of wildlife, including deer, elk, javalinas, squirrels and birds. The Tonto Creek is accessible in walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and remote yet perfectly located just off the Highway 260 within short driving distance to both Payson to the west and up the Mogollon Rim to the east where you will find several lakes. Across the highway there are various trailheads, including Horton Creek, as well as the Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery.
