Excellent location for a home base. Host was excellent communicator and provided amazing travel details and driving directions. Home had all the needed provisions and was very comfortable. Views were amazing.

The house is lovely, nicely furnished and very easily reachable from the ringroad, leaving lots of exploration options with Snaefelsness and Reykjavik both easiliy reached from the house, making it an ideal base of exploration. The kitchen is well stocked and it's lovely having the terrace and barbecue as additional seating and cooking options. Views are nice too! The only issue is that the house does get damp in cold weather and there's a lot of moisture build up around the windows overnight, but it is relatively easily managed through airing out the house.

What a charming summerhouse to stay in. The home was just as described. We had 1 request and the host responded promptly. The beds were comfortable and the general area was quiet and the view was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Cabin is very cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. The views are beautiful - especially nice when enjoying the midnight sun as we were. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Location is convenient to town to enjoy dinner out, but also set back enough to really take in the beautiful surroundings.

This Cozy cottage was perfect for two couples to share and spend time gathering. The pictures and descriptions were accurate. The owners were timely on communication. Definitely would recommend this stay.

The host was responsive and kind to a couple of questions that we had. Clean and had everything we needed.The location is great, about 30 minutes down a gravel road. We arrived during the day so it was easy to see the numbering on the cabin, as they are numbered in descending order as you drive down the road.

Bucket list vacation

We had a wonderful stay! We are 2 couples in Iceland for the first time, driving the Ring Road, and this was our first night. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and has a beautiful porch and view. We loved this spot and would highly recommend it!

Nice cabin and well appointed.

This is a nice cabin for stays near the peninsula. It is a bit off the road so quick runs to a store or major interests are not possible. Owner gives great information about the area and communicates quickly. Would stay again.

Wonderful location, very peaceful

We chose this as our initial accommodation in Iceland, and it served as a perfect base for our visit to Snæfellsjökull National Park the following day. The location was incredibly convenient, and the cozy cabin atmosphere added to our overall experience. We greatly appreciate the wonderful hospitality during our first and second nights here!

Our family of three stayed here two nights in July. Everything was in working order and adequately furnished. Two issues. First the bed was pushed against the wall and in order for me to get out, I had to crawl over my husband. Not ideal. We did wash some jeans while there and the washing machine would not shut off. So, we spent some time trying to get the door opened. The refrigerator is only dorm size and no ice cube tray in the freezer part. Would have been nice to finally have some ice, in Iceland. I needed an extra pillow and there was one, but no pillow case. The cabin was roughly 20 minutes off the main highway, and down a bumpy road. Make sure you follow the directions and take the correct road, or you're be turning around and wasting a bunch of time. Communication with renters was excellent, with pictures and very detailed directions.

Enjoyable stay

This cozy cabin was well-appointed with a nice view of the water and mountains. It was convenient to Borgarnes and a great jumping off spot for the Snæfellsbær Peninsula. The owners went out of their way to communicate instructions and other helpful hints. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful views and cozy cabin off the beat and path!

This was a great first stay for our 10 day trip around the Ring Road. Gorgeous spot right under the mountains and beautiful views from the porch. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and there were nice touches to make the place more cozy. The beds were comfortable as well. Very welcoming and communicative host.

Cosy cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin. The beds were very comfortable and it was a perfect size for our family of three. My favorite part of the day was the drive to and from the cabin as we got to see so many baby lambs along the way. The quiet area was so relaxing. Wi-Fi was great as well. Thank you!
