Welcome to this newly built home on Jo Mac Rd., 15 minutes from downtown Carrboro and 20 from downtown Chapel Hill (& UNC hospitals). The house sits in an open field uphill from a pond and surrounded on the other 3 sides by trees. It is near the HoneySuckle Teahouse (about a half mile away), the Eco-Institute at Rock Quarry Farm (a little over a mile away) & Rock Quarry Farm (about 3 miles away) -- not affiliated with any of those, we just know them as nearby neighbors doing neat work and hosting cool events!
Our home is fairly accessible, with a welcoming ramp from the parking area to the back door, ADA-compliant front and back doors, one-level living, and a large walk-in shower in the main bathroom.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave the house neat, but no need to worry about cleaning – we’ll handle linens and laundry and such.
If the in-house trash cans fill up, please tie the bag shut and put it in the big trash can out on the back porch. There are more trash bags under the kitchen sink.
Recycling can go in the bins on the porches. We can recycle paper/cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and glass. Other items, and soiled items (like greasy food wrappers) go in the trash.

I rented this for my family during a recent reunion. Everyone who saw the property remarked about how beautiful and nice it is! The owner was very gracious, and great to deal with about check-in.

Thank you for your kind comments! I'm so glad your family enjoyed your stay. I really appreciate how spotlessly clean your group left the home and would be happy to host again if you're ever back in the area.
House was spotlessly clean. Kitchen had everything needed and more. Bathrooms were big and updated. Beds comfortable with nice linens. House had nice spaces with a screened in porch as well as a nice front porch. Location was perfect for where we needed to be but also not far from all the areas nearby.
This was a very pleasant experience, the host was most gracious. The property is amazing with total privacy as well as a line for fishing. They're is a fire pit, and space to do numerous activities. Definitely plan to visit again!!!
I would gladly live out the rest of my days at this beautiful place
The weekend spent at this place was perfect. You could not ask for a better experience. The house, the location, the cleanliness and ease of our stay was incredible but the most impressive and important factor was the communication and attentiveness given by the owner Alexandria. SHE made all the difference this important weekend stay. I can not say enough good things about our experience. This is the place to stay if in the area.
