15 minutes to downtown St. Albans

45 minutes to Burlington

Loved the pizza oven. Kitchen was huge. I think we needed better instructions regarding the TV, operation of pizza oven (utubed it). More towels needed, especially hand towels in bathrooms. Window sills could use a good dusting, bathrooms were clean. Overall, enjoyed our stay!

The views from the house are absolutely stunning. The space is large and the access to the lake is fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the house did not have A/C and wasn't equipped with fans in the upper rooms to make up for it. Was also a bummer that we couldn't swim (algae blooms) and that the television didn't work. There were also spiderwebs throughout the property, which was a bit surprising. Overall, a good value for the money, but we found we couldn't spend much time at the house and did a lot more driving than anticipated as a result.

Charming house with comfortable bedrooms and a huge kitchen great for making gourmet meals for large groups. Amazing sunset views every evening, and several lovely trees provided perfect afternoon shade. Property had access to its own small beach area and concrete boat launch. We enjoyed lots of kayaking all times of day. Our one (big) disappointment was that the bay was too algae rich to allow for swimming. We didn't realize this northernmost part of Lake Champlain had seasonal water quality issues and wished the information had been provided on the vrbo property page (at least a link to a water quality site where they give green, orange, red flags). The house doesn't have A/C, but had great ceiling fans in the three main bedrooms. We ended up buying a fan for the third floor. We'd definitely go back, such a beautiful spot, but would go during spring or fall instead.
