A great stay. It is (as described) without Wi-Fi, and you will need a 4x4 during the winter. It was perfection from start to finish for us, and we would readily do it again!

Thank you so much for staying with us, we really enjoyed hosting you. You are correct the winters in St. Mary's Glacier you need the 4 x 4 you never know when a storm will be coming in. We hope to host you again soon.
Took my 15 yr old son on a father son trip to Colorado, it did not disappoint (obviously) and neither did this cute little cabin. The views are amazing, the cabin is cozy and had everything we needed as we acclimated to the 10,000ft altitude. Thanks for creating a space for memories.
whole misunderstanding on which house I rented, could not get temp up passed 60 in house I got. At 2 am couldn't stand cold any longer so packed up and came home, spent one Nite out of four
Comfortable quaint cabin perfect for a couple. Located on a beautiful mountain lake. Great hiking right out the door. Close enough to hit the big city or Breckenridge or winter park as well as many other beautiful spots like Red Rocks for day trips. Bring your fishing pole the lake is full of rainbow and brook trout. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cute cabin that was clean and quiet, perfect for a couple. The lake near the property is beautiful and the drive up to the cabin is pretty as well! The actual cabin could use a few updates/repairs -mainly outside and maybe a light/house number on the back so as you drive up (especially if you arrive at night), it’s easily identified. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!! The host/property manager was responsive and communicated with us throughout the stay.
Fyi- we didn’t have trouble with cell phone reception.
I had a wonderful 2 night stay at this cabin, It is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. The cabin is well appointed, the bed is comfortable, and everything was clean, cozy, and and welcoming. Its just a short walk down a hill where you can sit and have a cup of coffee or a beer to watch the beavers busy at work while you take in the sights. The scenic hike up to the snowfield was super fun, a must do while in the area! I will certainly consider staying here again!

They could improve a few things. First, the heating is not the best in the bedroom nor in the kitchen. Also, the right wall on the living room, was dusty and with spiderwebs. Lastly, the folded blanket on top of the bed, had a lot of dog hair. Besides that, everything was great. Thanks!

We found the cabin quaintly cute, comfy and clean. The kitchen was stocked with whatever would be needed to prepare meals. Our fur baby was welcome which is important to us when choosing a place to stay. The tv had limited access but wasn't a deal breaker for us. Why would you choose tv over a good book or the amazing beauty just outside the door. We give this perfectly perfect cabin a 5 star!!! If you want the luxury of white carpet and silver... don't go to the mountains.
The cabin was very nice, and clean, loved the decor.
There were a few lights that didn’t work probably just needed a new bulb. Beautiful view of the lake just a short walk from the cabin. It’s about a 30 min drive to Idaho springs very beautiful area.
Very cute, comfortable cottage. Quiet and relaxing. Only negative is there was no instruction for operating TV. And possibly more detail on heater settings? Would of been nice to have some info about hiking or things to do in the area. Over all really enjoyed our stay. We left relaxed and rested.

Nice cabin, very dusty and dimly lit. Fishing area barely 6ft. wide after Tyler moved one of the junk boats. Shallow and mossy. No TV! Window cranks broken. No counter space in bathroom. Curtain in bathroom is embarrassing. Heater didn't work Thursday night. Not enough towels and wash cloths. No way to communicate with management, no wifi, no internet or phone service after Wednesday. Nice deck and comfortable bed. Paint should not be stored in the cabin. We did not want to pay 10.00 to park on the other side of the lake. We are handicapped seniors and fishing would have been easier and better there. Could not find the address without wandering around the neighborhood looking on the lake side. Why not some numbers visible from the road? Owners of the property should inspect the cleanliness of the cabin more often! Cleaning crew is skipping lots of issues. We would not recommend any other people staying here without at least a thorough cleaning, TV and wifi, clear addresses visible from the road.

great location off the grid
first off i want to say the location is great. it is a beautiful spot. and if you want to be off the grid its a perfect spot. communication with the owners was very slow in my situation. that being said, being “off the grid” was not particularly stated in the description. in the pictures you can’t see a TV so i asked if there was a TV so i would know whether to bring a laptop i could watch tv on or not. the answer i got was yes. the thing that was not communicated was that the tv is useless because there is no internet connection or wi-fi. the only thing that the dish tv system is good for is watching a few old movies and tv shows that are recorded on the DVR. i didn’t know there wasn’t any wifi, granted, wifi is not stated in “amenities “ but that fact needs to be specifically stated. with no tv and no wifi you are stuck with nothing. i understand you don’t go on vacation in the mountains to watch tv. but after a long day off-roading and hiking. it’s nice to watch a couple hours of tv before going to bed. as far as the cabin itself. it was nice enough and on the surface it is clean, but i will say it needs a deep cleaning. it smells like mothballs. being in the woods there are some extra guests around as well. no big deal though. the outside is a bit unkept but again not a big deal. the sentiment is that it could be so much nicer with a little TLC. overall the experience was not bad. just the lack of communication and the slow responses to questions was the biggest issue.
