Maximum stay is 7 days. Please keep dishes washed and kitchen clean. Dispose of all trash in outside receptacle located behind the building.
It is preferred guests do not wear shoes in the house. Shoes are highly recommended outside. No jumping or diving off the pier.

Great spot to get away

Lorie was an excellent host and the cottage was clean and comfortable. A great place for someone needing a place to stay for a couple nights.

Beautiful views

A perfect weekend! Easy to get into the water, and I spent hours watching the water, birds, and sunset. During hot afternoon hours, I did an easy loop of Back Porch Winery, Gardening Gays farmer's market, and Creekside Brewery. A wonderfully peaceful time. I highly recommend!

The cottage is exactly as pictured. It is quaint and adorable with everything you need. Lorie was communicative and quick to respond to the few questions I had. It was the perfect weekend retreat that I was looking for. There are not many restaurants or food locations within about 15 minutes(at least that I found). That was not a problem to me, but just be prepared. (coming from a city girl I found this very different.)

Quaint and Perfect!

The overall size of the property is gigantic and so well put together! Lorie does an excellent job of maintaining the property and she is on point with any and all questions along with some farm fresh eggs we were in need of (TY again!) we stayed for a few days for our anniversary and I couldn’t be happier with the privacy and ambience of our stay at the RiverBunk! From the porch in the am with the coffee and sounds of the River to fireflies and beauty of the firepit and grill at night. Thank you for everything, it’s one we will never forget!

Things to do in the area include the Ingleside Vineyards (4 miles), the Chesapeake Wine Trail, Colonial Beach Brewing (10 miles), George Washington Birthplace National Monument (6.6), James Monroe Birthplace (11), Montross Brewery (9), Stratford Hall (9), Town of Colonial Beach (11), The Virginia Oyster Trail, Westmoreland County Museum & Library (9) and Westmoreland State Park (8) to name a few.

The property is a great place to fly a kite, throw a frisbee or play a game of croquet.
