Why they chose this property
When my Wife and I had a chance to buy a former Bank, everyone thought we were crazy! We loved the neighborhood as well as proximity to everything that is "Traverse City". The building offered us an opportunity to create a short term rental that could accomodate a larger group, has off street parking and an outdoor area for entertaining which are all very tough to get in Downtown TC!
What makes this property unique
The 1800 sq ft ground floor offered a spacious plan to work with! The building, built in 1961, is built like a bomb shelter and has some very unique characteristics. The open concept, 11 ft ceilings and exposed HVAC Tubes give it an industrial vibe. The Finishes are high end including Quartz counters throughout the kitchens and bathrooms. The 12 foot Quartz Island with waterfall ends and 6 barstools tie the kitchen to the rest of the living space. The flooring is all Luxury Vinyl Plank and the showers are Custom Tile. The curved walls, numerous windows and floor to ceiling black velvet drapes play very nicely with the mid century modern motif. Tufted leather sofas, dark woods and green velvet chairs give the home a refined feel, while the pink neon offers a more playful touch.
You will have ample opportunity to spread out, chill and have an amazing place to start the adventures of the day and find comfort after hard core vacationing!
