Dear Mary Jo
I'm really happy you liked my cottage and your experience there. Like you stated, my place is centrally located to many different attractions. I hope to see you in the future. Thanks again! Sincerely, Jim S.
Enjoyed the cottage. It was very spacious and nicely appointed. Great location too! Easy to get to everywhere in the Traverse City and Leelanau area. The cottage itself is in a quieter relaxed area. High Lake was very nice for a dip.

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. We enjoyed the campfire, sand and water area for the kids, as well as its convenient location to downtown Traverse City. The house was very nice and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably! We would stay here again! Thank-you!

Hi Sarah!
Thank you so much for the nice review! I’m so happy you had a great time with your family! My cottage has never looked better! Thanks to my two daughters my cottage is decorated much better - with some new furniture and new pictures and all new sheets, comforters, bath and beach towels. I hope you return! Thanks again, Jim S.
We loved our stay and how close the store and good food was. Easy check in and out. If you are renting the pontoon and want to swim, make sure there is a ladder (which was missing for us), but other than that the rental was what it promised to be.

Thanks for the positive review! I found the ladder for the boat. It was hidden in the shed! Next time you come you’ll have it!
The location combined with all the amenities of this home made our stay perfect. We loved having so much to do on the lake with the paddle boats and kayaks and private beach. Being close to downtown traverse was a plus as well. We had a wonderful stay and nothing but positive interactions with our host, Jim.

Thanks so much Kelsy for the nice review! I do like the fact my cottage is close to town but far enough away to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. And the two kayaks and paddleboat, which are free to use, are a lot of fun. I hope you come back!
We had a very enjoyable stay at the house. had everything we needed, the beach was a big hit and the fishing was great, pontoon boat worked well for fishing and just cruising around the lake. My family had a great time and would highly recommend. Look to return in 2021.

Thanks for the nice review! And better yet you’ve all ready booked for next summer so obviously you had a great time. The lake does have great fishing!!! Trout, small bass, pike, blue gill, etc. I am doing some home improvements for next summer so I think you’re going to like the cottage even better!!
We enjoyed our time at this Lakehouse for our annual Lakehouse vacation with our small children. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock, jumping off of the dingy, kayaking/paddle boating, the TVs were convenient for the kids, and the separate living rooms and all of the bedrooms! We will definitely be returning!

Thanks for the nice review!! It’s extra special when a family and their friends make great memories!! I’m glad you’re coming back!!
Lots of room at this house and beautiful setting with great beach area for the kids to play in and we enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks and the pontoon rental as well! Very well stocked house - plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and laundry soap and trash bags - we are used to having to stock up on these when going to a rental house but they had an ample supply and even had beach toys and towels there for our use.

This was a great location for while we were there for a softball tournament and very easy to get to downtown TC. Kids had a lot of fun playing on the dock and swimming. Plenty of room for all of us to sleep and living room spaces.
This is a perfect house and location for a family vacation. The layout of the bedrooms allowed each family to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels and other necessities. Enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks, pontoon boat, and fishing. We had a relaxing and fun filled stay.

Thanks for the very nice review!! Fishing is great in the lake! A teenager caught a 38-inch pike a few weeks ago!! I hope you comeback!
Excellent cottage for a multigenerational family vacation. Little ones loved playing at the sandy beach and fishing from the dock. The cottage is large so we had all the space we needed. Older children loved the game room with a pool table.

Jim was amazing to work with and I would definitely stay at his house again!!! The kitchen was fully stocked which is always a plus for a small family. The furniture was in excellent condition and very comfortable to relax on after a long day.
The beach area, chairs and fire place were perfect!! The kids absolutely loved fishing, kayaking, paddling and swimming.

We absolutely loved our week! Jim was so kind and helpful, easy to communicate with, and made it so easy to use the boat. The location was perfect for us-close to mountain bike trails and downtown Traverse City for quick trips away. But the lake was our favorite! Just the right size for our family and such a peaceful place to vacation. The accommodations were comfortable and we had all we needed. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
