Only 12 minutes to downtown Greenville, 8 minutes to downtown Travelers Rest, and less than 5 minutes to Furman University. You’ll feel tucked away on the mountain, while still being minutes from everything this area has to offer. Less than 1-mile from the Swamp Rabbit Trail and next door to Paris Mountain State Park for those who love to hike and bike! 5 minutes from the historic Peddler Steakhouse and hundreds of other wonderful restaurants! With a fire pit, a porch swing bed, furnished screened in porch, and an outdoor grill, guests can relax and unwind in this amazing retreat. We look forward to welcoming you to our place!

Our host was so welcoming! We communicated with Kathleen throughout the reservation process & leading up to arrival! Friendly & accommodating. The cottage is super cute & was ample space for 3 women & our girls weekend. The cottage is located for ease to Travelers Rest & Pendleton. We used the fire pit. Cottage is clean with plenty of space. We will return. Thank you!

My husband and I had an amazing vacation and getting to “ come home” every night was the Best part! Kathleen goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen minus the food lol to the most comfortable couch/daybed to the memory foam beds with a wide variety of pillow choices. The house is fully fenced in all the way around so your furbabies can not get out and the daybed swing is perfect to lounge on in the evening! Everything smells amazing and once you realize Kathleen’s lil secret you too will get it so your house smells amazing too!The neighborhood is super quiet and the drive to the town takes less than 15 minutes! Five stars for this vacation home away from home !

A true home away from home. Pet friendly- fenced yard in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. Quiet. Peaceful. The home is spotless and the beds are so comfortable. They have everything you need for a great stay. The host is wonderful. The internet signal is fantastic if you need to do any work. Highly recommend! I will definitely be back.

Every aspect of this property was first rate. The design and furnishings are clean and crisp. The external aspects were planned by a dog lover. The wooden fence is adequate and is reinforced by wire mesh to prevent any escapes. The host responded to our inquiry about the TV even though his wife was in labor and delivering their new baby. These people are great; just like their property.

Plus, I find VRBO homes to be more comfortable for my husband, daughter, and our 2 dogs when we travel. My family is based out of Charleston, SC, where we enjoy living minutes from the beach. With this being said, we're excited to have our first VRBO/our 2nd home in an area we absolutely love - Greenville, SC - a city we have come to visit for a weekend away for years now because of how charming it is and we get the feel of being in the mountains in just under a 3 hour drive from our house!

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have always loved to hike and be in the mountains for vacations, so Paris Mountain in Greenville, SC was an obvious choice for us. We love that this home feels like it is away from the hustle and bustle of a city, but still only 5 minutes from the grocery store, so we get the best of both worlds- serene mountain living with all of the conveniences of living in the city.

What makes this property unique

Our property feels like home as soon as you walk in. And the porch swing overlooking the yard faces the sunsetting every day. It does not get any better :)
